Results from the global Standard Model fit to electroweak precision data, including newest Tevatron measurements, are reviewed and discussed. The complete fit using also the constraints from the direct Higgs boson searches yields an upper limit on the Higgs mass of 153 GeV at 95% CL. The top mass is indirectly determined to be (177.2 +10.5 -7.8) GeV and (179.5 +8.8 -5.2) GeV for fits including or not the constraints from the direct Higgs searches, respectively. Using the 3NLO perturbative prediction of the massless QCD Adler function, the strong coupling constant at the Z-mass scale is determined to be alpha_s(MZ)=0.1193 +- 0.0028 +- 0.0001, which is in excellent agreement with the 3NLO result from hadronic tau decays. The perspectives of the electroweak fit for forthcoming and proposed future collider projects are discussed. The available constraints on the Higgs mass are convolved with the high-scale behaviour of the Higgs quartic coupling to derive likelihoods for the survival of the Standard Model versus its cut-off scale evolved up to the Planck mass.
I review the status of theoretical calculations relevant for electroweak physics at the Tevatron and LHC and discuss future directions. I also give a brief overview of current electroweak data and discuss future expectations.

We review the status of electroweak radiative corrections to top-pair production at a Linear Collider well above the production threshold. We describe the Fortran package topfit and present numerical results at sqrt(s) = 500 GeV, 1 TeV, and 3 TeV.
There are many reasons to believe that there might be new sources of CP-violation beyond the phases of the KM matrix. One of these is the possibility of electroweak baryogenesis. We describe some recent developments in this subject and make some comments on the possibility that the minimal standard model might itself be the origin of the baryon asymmetry. To appear in the Proceedings of the Third KEK Topical Conference on CP Violation, its Implications to Particle Physics and Cosmology, 16--18 November, 1993.
The status of the Standard Model (SM) is reviewed. We emphazize the fact that in spite of the success of the SM for the descrition of the fermionic sector, the status of the bosonic sector (gauge and scalar) suffers from many theoretical deficiencies and from the lack of empirical support. This situation, which leaves room for several types of extensions or alternatives to SM, strongly motivates the pursue of intense efforts for finding hints of New Physics (NP) effects. We present a phenomenological description valid for energies lying below the NP scale. We discuss the indirect constraints e…
In this presentation Gfitter results from the global Standard Model (SM) fit to electroweak precision data are discussed. We have used the latest measurements of m_top and M_W and the most recent results for direct Higgs searches at LEP and Tevatron. We obtain M_H=121^{+17}_{-6} GeV and a 95% CL upper limit of 155 GeV for the SM Higgs mass. The forth-order result for the strong coupling constant is given by alpha_S(M_Z^2)=0.1193 +- 0.0028(exp) +- 0.0001(theo). In addition the electroweak fit has been performed with the top mass determined from the ttbar cross-section as measured at Tevatron.
We present results from the global electroweak fit to precision measurements in the Standard Model (SM). The fit uses the latest theoretical calculations for observables on the $Z$ pole and the $W$ boson mass, yielding precise SM predictions for the effective weak mixing angle and the masses of the $W$ and Higgs bosons, as well as the top quark. We study the impact of the latest measurements on the fit and provide comparisons of the resulting predictions for individual observables with recent measurements.

Furthermore the level of precision necessary to match the experimental accuracy at the next generation of colliders is discussed.

The mechanism of resonance enhancement of neutrino oscillations in matter and some critical remarks to this mechanism are considered. Using of this resonance mechanism is very important to examine the model of electroweak interactions since the processes induced by this mechanism grow multiply. In contrast to the electromagnetic and strong interactions in weak interactions, $P$-parity is violated therefore a problem of mass generations in the weak interactions is considered (the interaction must be left-right symmetric for mass generations). It is concluded that a possibility of mass generatio…
We perform a global fit of the parameters of the Standard Model with a sequential fourth generation (SM4) to LHC and Tevatron Higgs data and electroweak precision data. Using several likelihood ratio tests we compare the performance of the SM4 and SM3 at describing the measured data. Since the SM3 and SM4 are not nested (i.e. the SM3 can not be considered as a special case of the SM4 with some parameters fixed) the usual analytical formulae for p-values in likelihood ratio tests do not hold. We thus apply a new method to compute these p-values. For a Higgs mass of 126.5 GeV and fourth-generati…
I discuss two aspects of the electroweak interactions: the status of the precision measurement of the electroweak parameters and their impact on the Higgs search at future colliders.
We present an update of the Standard Model fit to electroweak precision data. We include newest experimental results on the top quark mass, the W mass and width, and the Higgs boson mass bounds from LEP, Tevatron and the LHC. We also include a new determination of the electromagnetic coupling strength at the Z pole. We find for the Higgs boson mass (91 +30 -23) GeV and (120 +12 -5) GeV when not including and including the direct Higgs searches, respectively. From the latter fit we indirectly determine the W mass to be (80.360 +0.014 -0.013) GeV. We exploit the data to determine experimental co…
Weak gauge boson pair production is an important process at the LHC because it probes the non-Abelian structure of electroweak interactions and it is a background process for many new physics searches, and with enough statistics we can perform comparisons between measurements and theoretical calculations for different but correlated observables. In these proceedings, we present a theoretical status including state-of-the-art results from recent calculations of higher-order QCD and electroweak corrections.
Electroweak WIMPs are under intense scrutiny from direct detection, indirect detection, and collider experiments. Nonetheless the pure (pseudo-Dirac) higgsino, one of the simplest such WIMPs, remains elusive. We present an up-to-date assessment of current experimental constraints on neutralino dark matter. The strongest bound on pure higgsino dark matter currently may arise from AMS-02 measurements of antiprotons, though the interpretation of these results has sizable uncertainty. We discuss whether future astrophysical observations could offer novel ways to test higgsino dark matter, especial…
We determine the current status of the fundamental composite electroweak dynamics paradigm after the discovery of the Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider experiments. Our analysis serves as universal and minimal template for a wide class of models with the two limits in parameter space being composite Goldstone Higgs models and Technicolor. This is possible because of the existence of a unified description, both at the effective and fundamental Lagrangian levels, of models of composite Higgs dynamics where the Higgs boson itself can emerge, depending on the way the electroweak symmetry is…

In the gauge sector, we discuss universal corrections of $Ø(G_F^2M_H^2M_W^2)$, $Ø(G_F^2m_t^4)$, $Ø(α_sG_FM_W^2)$, $Ø(α_s^2G_Fm_t^2)$, and those due to virtual $t\bar t$ threshold effects, as well as specific corrections to $Γ\left(Z\to b\bar b\right)$ of $Ø(G_F^2m_t^4)$, $Ø(α_sG_Fm_t^2)$, and $Ø(α_s^3)$ including finite-$m_b$ effects. We also present an update of the hadronic contributions to $Δα$. Theoreti…
