Sneutrino-antisneutrino oscillation can be observed at the LHC by studying a charge asymmetry of the leptons in the final states. In this talk, we demonstrate this in the context of an anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking model which can give rise to a large oscillation probability. The preferred region of the parameter space is characterized by the presence of a sneutrino next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle and a stau lightest supersymmetric particle. We show that the signals studied here have certain correlations with the pattern of the sneutrino oscillation.
Sneutrino-antisneutrino oscillation can be a very useful probe to look for signatures of lepton number violation ($ΔL=2$) at the Tevatron. Here, we discuss a scenario where the total decay width of the sneutrino is very small, producing interesting signals at the Tevatron for a mass splitting $Δm$ as small as $10^{-14}$ GeV between the sneutrino mass eigenstates.
In supersymmetric models with nonzero Majorana neutrino mass, the sneutrino and antisneutrino mix, which may lead to same sign dilepton signals in future collider experiments. We point out that the anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking scenario has a good potential to provide an observable rate of such signals for the neutrino masses suggested by the atmospheric and solar neutrino oscillations. The sneutrino mixing rate is naturally enhanced by m_{3/2}/m_{\tildeν}={\cal O}(4π/α) while the sneutrino decay rate is small enough on a sizable portion of the parameter space. We point out also that…
We explore right-handed sneutrino-antisneutrino mixing in a TeV scale B-L extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), (B-L)SSM, where a type I seesaw mechanism of light neutrino mass generation is naturally implemented. The constraints imposed on the mass splitting between heavy right-handed sneutrino and the corresponding antisneutrino by the experimental limits set on the light neutrino masses are investigated. We also study direct pair production of such right-handed sneutrinos at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and its decay modes, emphasising that their decay into same-…
Sneutrino-antisneutrino mixing occurs in a supersymmetric model where neutrinos have nonzero Majorana masses. This can lead to the sneutrino decaying into a final state with a "wrong-sign charged lepton". In an $e^- γ$ collider, the signal of the associated production of an electron-sneutrino and the lighter chargino and their subsequent decays can be $e^- γ\to e^+ {\tilde τ}_1^- {\tilde τ}_1^- + \mpT$ where the ${\tilde τ}_1$s are long-lived and can produce heavily ionizing charged tracks. This signal is free of any Standard Model background, and the supersymmetric backgrounds are small. Such…
In any model with nonzero Majorana neutrino masses, the sneutrino and antisneutrino of the supersymmetric extended theory mix. We outline the conditions under which sneutrino-antisneutrino mixing is experimentally observable. The mass-splitting of the sneutrino mass eigenstates and sneutrino oscillation phenomena are considered.

Sneutrino-antisneutrino oscillation can be a very useful probe to look for signatures of lepton number violation ($ΔL = 2$) at the LHC. Here, we discuss the effect of the boost factor $γ$ and the travelling distance $L$ on the probability of the oscillation. We demonstrate that these two parameters can significantly alter the probability of the oscillation when the sneutrinos are ultrarelativistic and have a very small total decay width. We propose a scenario where these requirements are fulfilled and which produces interesting signals at the LHC even for a mass splitting $Δm$ as small as $10^…
R-parity-violating supersymmetry with a conserved baryon number B provides a framework for particle physics with lepton number (L) violating interactions. Two important probes of the L-violating physics are neutrino masses and sneutrino-antisneutrino mass-splittings. We evaluate these quantities in the context of the most general CP-conserving, R-parity-violating B-conserving extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model. In generic three-generation models, three sneutrino-antisneutrino mass splittings are generated at tree-level. In contrast, only one neutrino mass is generated at tr…
We propose an alternative mechanism for leptogenesis at the electroweak scale, through the decays of a left-handed sneutrino. This scenario may be realized in supersymmetric models with non-zero Majorana masses for the neutrino superfield that lead to mixing and mass splitting between the left-handed sneutrino and the corresponding antisneutrino. Soft supersymmetry breaking provides new sources of CP violation in sneutrino-antisneutrino mixing that can generate a lepton asymmetry in decays of the left-handed sneutrino. We show how the three Sakharov conditions for generating the observed baryo…
In supersymmetric models with nonvanishing Majorana neutrino masses, the sneutrino and antisneutrino mix. The conditions under which this mixing is experimentally observable are studied, and mass-splitting of the sneutrino mass eigenstates and sneutrino oscillation phenomena are analyzed.

In R-parity-violating supersymmetric models (with a conserved baryon number), there are no quantum numbers that distinguish the lepton-doublet and down-type Higgs supermultiplets. As a result, the R-parity-violating parameters depend on the basis choice for these superfields, although physical observables are independent of the choice of basis. This paper presents a basis-independent computation of the sneutrino/antisneutrino squared-mass splitting in terms of basis-independent quantities. Techniques are developed for an arbitrary number of sneutrino generations; specific results are provided …
We show that soft supersymmetry breaking terms involving the heavy sneutrinos can lead to sneutrino-antisneutrino mixing and to new sources of CP violation, which are present even if a single generation is considered. These terms are naturally present in supersymmetric versions of leptogenesis scenarios, and they induce indirect CP violation in the decays of the heavy sneutrinos, eventually generating a baryon asymmetry. This new contribution can be comparable to or even dominate over the asymmetry produced in traditional leptogenesis scenarios.
R-parity-violating supersymmetry (with a conserved baryon number B) provides a framework for particle physics with lepton number (L) violating interactions. We examine in detail the structure of the most general R-parity-violating (B-conserving) model of low-energy supersymmetry. We analyze the mixing of Higgs bosons with sleptons and the mixing of charginos and neutralinos with charged leptons and neutrinos, respectively. Implications for neutrino and sneutrino masses and mixing and CP-conserving sneutrino phenomena are considered. L-violating low-energy supersymmetry can be probed at future …
We have considered a supersymmetric scenario in which the minimal supersymmetric standard model is augmented with a right-chiral neutrino superfield for each generation. Such a scenario can have a lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) dominated by the right-chiral sneutrino state and the lighter stau as the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP). This can easily be motivated by assuming a high scale framework of supersymmetry breaking like minimal supergravity (mSUGRA). Due to the extremely small neutrino Yukawa coupling, the decay of the NLSP to the LSP is suppressed and consequentl…
Right-handed sneutrinos are natural components of left-right symmetric supersymmetric models where the gauge sector is extended to include right-handed weak interactions. Unlike in other models where right-handed sneutrinos are gauge singlets, here the right sneutrino is part of a doublet and could be a dark matter candidate whose annihilation proceeds via gauge interactions. We investigate this possibility, and find that relic density, low-energy observable and direct supersymmetry search constraints can be satisfied when the lightest supersymmetric particle is a right-handed sneutrino. We in…
The resonant production of sneutrinos at the LHC via the R-parity violating couplings $ł'_{ijk} L_i Q_j D^c_k$ is studied through its three-leptons signature. A detailed particle level study of signal and background is performed using a fast simulation of the ATLAS detector. Through the full reconstruction of the cascade decay, a model-independent and precise measurement of the masses of the involved sparticles can be performed. Besides, this signature can be detected for a broad class of supersymmetric models, and for a wide range of values of several $ł'_{ijk}$ coupling constants. Within the…
We consider new s-channel scalar exchanges in e+e- -> ZZ,W+W- in supersymmetry with a small lepton number violation. We show that a small bilinear R-parity violating term which leads to sneutrino--Higgs mixing can give rise to a significant scalar resonance enhancement in e+e- -> ZZ,W+W-. We use the LEP2 measurements of the WW and ZZ cross-sections to place useful constraints on this scenario. We also find, under conservative assumptions on the relevant parameter space involved, that such an exchange of the sneutrino-like admixture in e+e- -> ZZ,W+W- may be accessible to a 500 GeV e+e- collide…

We consider contributions of R-parity conserving softly broken supersymmetry (SUSY) to neutrinoless double beta ($\znbb$) decay via the (B-L)-violating sneutrino mass term. The latter is a generic ingredient of any weak-scale SUSY model with a Majorana neutrino mass. The new R-parity conserving SUSY contributions to $\znbb$ are realized at the level of box diagrams. We derive the effective Lagrangian describing the SUSY-box mechanism of $\znbb$-decay and the corresponding nuclear matrix elements. The 1-loop sneutrino contribution to the Majorana neutrino mass is also derived. Given the data on…
We discuss resonant leptogenesis arising from the decays of two nearly-degenerate right-handed neutrinos, identified as the inflaton and stabiliser superfields in a model of chaotic sneutrino inflation. We compare an analytical estimate of the baryon asymmetry $ η_B $ in the Boltzmann approximation to a numerical solution of the full density matrix equations, and find that the analytical result fails to capture the correct physics in certain regions of parameter space. The observed baryon asymmetry can be realised for a breaking of the mass degeneracy as small as $ \mathcal{O}(10^{-8}) $. The …
Supersymmetry relates neutrinos with their superpartners, sneutrinos. Unlike neutrinos, sneutrinos may decay visibly in colliders. We discuss how we could get information from neutrino Yukawa couplings in the NMSSM extended with right-handed neutrinos, if the right-handed sneutrinos are within the reach of the colliders.
An understanding of the lepton masses within the framework of SUSY is presented. A family symmetry is introduced. Sneutrino VEV breaks this symmetry. The tau mass is due to the Higgs VEV, and muon mass purely from the sneutrino VEV. A viable model is constructed, which predicts (1-10) MeV tau-neutrino.
We consider new s-channel scalar exchanges in top quark and massive gauge-bosons pair production in e+e- collisions, in supersymmetry with a small lepton number violation. We show that a soft bilinear lepton number violating term in the scalar potential which mixes the Higgs and the slepton fields can give rise to a significant scalar resonance enhancement in e+e- -> ZZ, W+W- and in e+e- -> t t(bar). The sneutrino-Higgs mixed state couples to the incoming light leptons through its sneutrino component and to either the top quark or the massive gauge bosons through its Higgs component. Such a sc…
An alternative to the conventional see-saw mechanism is proposed to explain the origin of small neutrino masses in supersymmetric theories. The masses and couplings of the right-handed neutrino field are suppressed by supersymmetry breaking, in a way similar to the suppression of the Higgs doublet mass, $μ$. New mechanisms for light Majorana, Dirac and sterile neutrinos arise, depending on the degree of suppression. Superpartner phenomenology is greatly altered by the presence of weak scale right-handed sneutrinos, which may have a coupling to a Higgs boson and a left-handed sneutrino. The sne…
The Lightest Supersymmetric Particle (LSP) is generally regarded as higgsino in focus point supersymmetry (SUSY). Under such circumstance it leads to bileptino LSP when the MSSM is extended by $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge group within the framework of Double Focus Point (DFP) supersymmetry. The bileptino is a copy of higgsino whose partner, bilepton, is used to break $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge symmetry spontaneously. Such scenario, however, is not favored by direct detection since it leads to unacceptable spin-independent cross section when one requires correct self-scattering cross section. We point out that i…
We consider MSSM with right-chiral neutrino superfields with Majorana masses, where the lightest right-handed sneutrino dominated scalars constitutes non-thermal dark matter (DM). The $Δ\,L=2$ masses are subject to severe constraints coming from freeze-in relic density of such DM candidates as well as from sterile neutrino $\textit{freeze-in}$. In addition, big-bang Nucleosynthesis and $\textit{freeze-out}$ of the next-to-lightest superparticle shrink the viable parameter space of such a scenario. We examine various $Δ\,L=2$ mass terms for families other than that $Δ\,L=2$ masses are difficult…
The current searches of supersymmetry (SUSY) are based on the neutralino lightest sparticle (LSP). In this article we instead focus on SUSY with sneutrino LSP. It is well motivated in many contexts, especially in which sneutrino services as a dark matter candidate. We first develop a simplified model, which contains the stop, chagino/neutralino and sneutrino, to describe the LHC phenomenologies of a large class of models with sneutrino LSP. Then we investigate bounds on the model using the SUSY searches at the 8 TeV LHC. Strong exclusion limits are derived, e.g., masses of stop and chargino ca…
We consider a right-handed scalar neutrino as the inflaton which carries a gravitational coupling with a supersymmetric QCD sector responsible for breaking supersymmetry dynamically. The framework suggests an inflaton potential which is a deformed version of the quadratic chaotic inflation leading to a flatter potential. We find that this deformation results a sizable tensor to scalar ratio which falls within the allowed region by PLANCK 2015. At the same time supersymmetry breaking at the end of inflation can naturally be induced in this set-up. The symmetries required to construct the framew…
We present the phenomenology of a supersymmetric model with sneutrino as the next to lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP) in the gravitino dark matter scenario at the LHC. We focus on the leptonic signatures and study the feasibility of a particular trilepton signature as a possible discovery channel of supersymmetry.
We explain the recent excess seen by ATLAS and CMS experiments at around 750 GeV in the di-photon invariant mass as a narrow width sneutrino decaying to di-photons via a stau loop in R-parity violating Supersymmetry. The stau mass is predicted to be somewhere between half the resonant sneutrino mass and half the sneutrino mass plus 14 GeV. The scenario also predicts further signal channels at an invariant mass of 750 GeV, the most promising being into di-jets and $WW$. We also predict a left handed charged slepton decaying into $WZ$ and $W γ$ at a mass 750-754 GeV.
In some areas of supersymmetry parameter space, sneutrinos are lighter than the charginos and the next-to-lightest neutralino, and they decay into the invisible neutrino plus lightest-neutralino channel with probability one. In such a scenario they can be searched for in decays of charginos that are pair-produced in e+e- collisions, and in associated sneutrino-chargino production in photon-electron collisions. The sneutrino properties can be determined with high accuracy from the edges of the decay energy spectra in the first case and from threshold scans in the second. In the final part of th…
Right-handed neutrinos offer us the possibility of accommodating neutrino masses. In a supersymmetric model, this implies the existence of right-handed sneutrinos. Right-handed sneutrinos are expected to be as light as other supersymmetric particles if the neutrinos are Dirac fermions, or if the lepton-number breaking scale is at (or below) the supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking scale, assumed to be around the electroweak scale. Depending on the mechanism of SUSY breaking, the lightest right-handed sneutrino may be the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP). We consider the unique hadron collider s…
The invisible signals of right-handed sneutrino decays originating from a Z' are analysed at the Large Hadron Collider. The possibility of accessing these events helps disentangling the B-L extension of Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model from more popular scenarios of Supersymmetry. We assess the scope of the CERN machine in establishing the aforementioned signatures when accompanied by mono-jet, single-photon or Z-radiation probes through sophisticated signal-to-background simulations carried out in presence of parton shower, hadronisation as well as detector effects. We find substantial s…
In this work we show that the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X (3-3-1) gauge model has a realistic candidate for self-interacting dark matter. In the model under consideration, the right-handed sneutrino is in bottom of the triplet, which is a singlet of the Standard Model SU(2)_L group. In addition, the right-handed sneutrino is the lightest slepton. By these properties, the right-handed sneutrino is weakly interacting with the Standard Model and stable without introduction of extra symmetry. From the Spergel-Steinhardt condition, the typical mass limit $\leq 10 $ MeV is d…
We propose a new method of detecting supersymmetry at LEP2 when R-parity is violated by an LLE operator. We consider the processes $eγ\ra\snu_j e_k$ and $eγ\ra \slep_k \barν_j$. These are sensitive to seven of the nine LLE-operators. A Monte-Carlo analysis is performed to investigate the sensitivity to the sneutrino signal, and the 5$σ$ discovery contours in the mass vs. coupling plane are presented. For an integrated luminosity of 100 pb^-1, sneutrinos with masses up to 170 GeV/c^2 could be discovered in the near future at LEP2. For the charged slepton production the cross-section is too low …
We study a supersymmetric scenario where the lighter tau-sneutrino is the lightest supersymmetric particle, while the lighter stau-state is the next lightest. Such a scenario can be motivated within the framework of minimal supergravity, with just the addition of a right-chiral neutrino superfield. Such a spectrum leads to rather unusual signals of supersymmetry, showing stable tracks of the stau in the muon chambers. We study the event characteristics of the long-lived staus at the LHC and demonstrate that the stau tracks can be distinguished from the muonic ones through proper kinematic cuts…
The region of the supersymmetry parameter space, in which charginos decay predominantly into sneutrinos and leptons: chi+ -> \tildeν + l+, is not excluded experimentally for small mass differences between charginos and sneutrinos. The decay sneutrinos are invisible in R-parity conserving theories since they are either the lightest supersymmetric particles or they decay primarily into the channel: neutrino + lightest neutralino. If the energy of the decay leptons is so small that they escape detection, chargino events e+e- -> chi+chi- in e+e- collisions remain invisible, eroding the excluded ch…
We consider leptogenesis induced by soft supersymmetry breaking terms ("soft leptogenesis"), in the context of the inverse seesaw mechanism. In this model there are lepton number (L) conserving and L-violating soft supersymmetry-breaking B-terms involving the singlet sneutrinos which, together with the -- generically small-- L-violating parameter responsible of the neutrino mass, give a small mass splitting between the four singlet sneutrino states of a single generation. In combination with the trilinear soft supersymmetry breaking terms they also provide new CP violating phases needed to gen…
We study the signatures of minimal anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking in an e^- gamma collider. We demonstrate that the associated production of a sneutrino with the lightest chargino leads to a substantially large signal size. The background is negligibly small, though. Even more interestingly, a measurement of the fundamental supersymmetry breaking parameters could be possible.
If sneutrinos are the lightest supersymmetry partners and $R$-parity is not conserved, the process $e^+e^- \to \tilde {\barν} \tilde ν$ can have striking signatures due to the decay modes $\tildeν\to\ell^+\ell'^-$ or $\tildeν\to q \bar q'$. We present cross section formulas and discuss event rates and detection at the upgraded $e^+e^-$ collider LEP. Four-lepton signals should be detectable up to sneutrino mass $\tilde {m}_ν= 80$ GeV and maybe beyond; four-jet signals should be detectable up to $\tilde {m}_ν= 70$ GeV, but would probably be obscured thereafter by $WW$ background.
We analyze a class of supersymmetric models first introduced by Arkani-Hamed et al and Borzumati et al in which the light neutrino masses result from higher-dimensional supersymmetry-breaking terms in the MSSM super- and Kahler-potentials. The mechanism is closely related to the Giudice-Masiero mechanism for the MSSM $μ$ parameter, and leads to TeV-scale right-handed neutrino and sneutrino states, that are in principle accessible to direct experimental study. The dominant contribution to the light neutrino (Majorana) mass matrix is a one-loop term induced by a lepton-number violating $B$-term …
We investigate the signals of a supersymmetric scenario where the lighter tau-sneutrino is the lightest supersymmetric particle, while the lighter stau-state is the next lightest. We confirm that such a scenario can be motivated within the framework of minimal supergravity, with just the addition of a right-chiral neutrino superfield. Such a spectrum leads to rather unusual signals of supersymmetry, showing stable tracks of the stau in the muon chambers. We have studied two types of signals, namely, (a) two or more hard jets and two stau tracks, and (b) hard jets with two muons and two stau tr…
We study the possibility of measuring neutrino Yukawa couplings in the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with right-handed neutrinos (NMSSMr) when the lightest Supersymmetric partner (a right-handed sneutrino) is the Dark Matter (DM) candidate, by exploiting a `dijet + dilepton + Missing Transverse Energy' (MET) signature. We show that, unlike the miminal realisation of Supersymmetry (SUSY), i.e., the MSSM, for which the DM candidate is a much heavier (fermionic) state (a neutralino), this non-minimal SUSY model offers one with a much lighter (bosonic) state (a sneutrino) as DM, wh…
The data obtained by the LHC collaborations clearly show that supersymmetric models are not realized in nature in a vanilla form and that in particular strongly interacting supersymmetric particles are most likely heavier than expected. An exception are the partners of the third generation quarks, which also play a dominant role in the breaking of the electroweak symmetry. We consider here an extended class of so-called `natural supersymmetric models' where we allow for a sneutrino as the lightest supersymmetric particle as it appears for example in left-right symmetric models and/or models wh…
Soft supersymmetry breaking terms involving heavy singlet sneutrinos provide new sources of lepton number violation and of CP violation. In addition to the CP violation in mixing, investigated previously, we find that `soft leptogenesis' can be generated by CP violation in decay and in the interference of mixing and decay. These additional ways to leptogenesis can be significant for a singlet neutrino Majorana mass that is not much larger than the supersymmetry breaking scale, $M < 100 m_{SUSY}$. In contrast to CP violation in mixing, for some of these new contributions the sneutrino oscillati…
In lepton-number-violating supersymmetric models, there is no natural choice of basis to distinguish the down-type Higgs and lepton superfields. We employ basis-independent techniques to identify the massless majoron and associated light scalar in the case of spontaneously-broken lepton number (L). When explicit L-violation is added, these two scalars can acquire masses of order the electroweak scale and can be identified as massive sneutrinos.
We consider sneutrino inflation and post-inflation cosmology in the singlet extension of the MSSM with approximate Peccei-Quinn(PQ) symmetry, assuming that supersymmetry breaking is mediated by gauge interaction. The PQ symmetry is broken by the intermediate-scale VEVs of two flaton fields, which are determined by the interplay between radiative flaton soft masses and higher order terms. Then, from the flaton VEVs, we obtain the correct mu term and the right-handed(RH) neutrino masses for see-saw mechanism. We show that the RH sneutrino with non-minimal gravity coupling drives inflation, thank…
We study in some detail the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model with gauge mediation of supersymmetry breaking. We find that it is feasible to spontaneously generate values of the Higgs mass parameters $μ$ and $B_μ$ consistent with radiative electroweak symmetry breaking. The model has a phenomenologically viable particle spectrum. Messenger sneutrinos with mass in the range 6 to 25 TeV can serve as cold dark matter. It is also possible to evade the cosmological domain wall problem in this scenario.
I explore the phenomenology of Supersymmetry models in which the gauginos are much heavier then that scalar particles of the MSSM. In these models, the gauginos are inaccessible to colliders while the scalar spectrum is compressed. I give several examples of models which exhibit this phenomenology built in the class of General Gauge Mediated Models. I explore possible LSP and NLSP candidates in these scenarios including Higgsino, stau, and sneutrino candidates. Collider signatures for these models include multi-particle decay chains, many taus in the final state, and possible displaced vertice…
For supersymmetric theories with gravitino dark matter, the maximal reheating temperature consistent with big bang nucleosynthesis bounds arises when the physical gaugino masses are degenerate. We consider the cases of a stau or sneutrino next-to-lightest superpartner, which have relatively less constraint from big bang nucleosynthesis. The resulting parameter space is consistent with leptogenesis requirements, and can be reached in generalized gauge mediation models. Such models illustrate a class of theories that overcome the well-known tension between big bang nucleosynthesis and leptogenes…
In some class of supersymmetric models, small neutrino mass is given as a consequence of the supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking. Phenomenologically interesting features of this scenario are as follows: (i) the right-handed sneutrino mass could be as low as TeV scale due to the Giudice-Masiero mechanism, and (ii) a scalar trilinear interaction of Higgs-slepton-(right-handed) sneutrino could be sizable without suppression by the small neutrino Yukawa coupling. We study some phenomenological aspects of this scenario focusing on the scalar trilinear interaction. We show that the 1-loop correction by sn…
The neutrino masses are generated in grand unified theory (GUT) constrained supersymmetric model with R-parity violation. The neutrinos acquire masses via tree-level neutrino-neutralino mixing as well as via one-loop radiative corrections. The theoretical mass matrix is compared with the phenomenological one, which is reconstructed by using neutrino oscillation and neutrinoless double beta decay data. This procedure allows to obtain significantly stronger constraints on R-parity breaking parameters than those existing in the literature. The implication of normal and inverted neutrino mass hier…
We consider a scenario inspired by natural supersymmetry, where neutrino data is explained within a low-scale seesaw scenario. We extend the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model by adding light right-handed neutrinos and their superpartners, the R-sneutrinos, and consider the lightest neutralinos to be higgsino-like. We consider the possibilities of having either an R-sneutrino or a higgsino as lightest supersymmetric particle. Assuming that squarks and gauginos are heavy, we systematically evaluate the bounds on slepton masses due to existing LHC data.
We consider the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM) with varying amounts of non-universality in the soft supersymmetry-breaking contributions to the Higgs scalar masses. In addition to the constrained MSSM (CMSSM) in which these are universal with the soft supersymmetry-breaking contributions to the squark and slepton masses at the input GUT scale, we consider scenarios in which both the Higgs scalar masses are non-universal by the same amount (NUHM1), and scenarios in which they are independently non-universal (NUHM2). We show how the NUHM1 scenarios generalize the (…
Inspired by the phenomenological constraints, LHC supersymmetry and Higgs searches, dark matter search as well as string model building, we propose the electroweak supersymmetry around the electroweak scale: the squarks and/or gluinos are around a few TeV while the sleptons, sneutrinos, bino and winos are within one TeV. The Higgsinos can be either heavy or light. We consider bino as the dominant component of dark matter candidate, and the observed dark matter relic density is achieved via the neutralino-stau coannihilations. Considering the Generalized Minimal Supergravity (GmSUGRA), we show …
Soft leptogenesis is a scenario in which the cosmic baryon asymmetry is produced from a lepton asymmetry generated in the decays of heavy sneutrinos (the partners of the singlet neutrinos of the seesaw) and where the relevant sources of CP violation are the complex phases of soft supersymmetry-breaking terms. We explain the motivations for soft leptogenesis, and review its basic ingredients: the different CP-violating contributions, the crucial role played by thermal corrections, and the enhancement of the efficiency from lepton flavour effects. We also discuss the high temperature regime $T >…
We suggest and analyze a class of supersymmetric Z' models based on the gauge symmetry U(1)_x = x Y - (B-L), where Y is the Standard Model hypercharge. For 1 < x < 2, the U(1)_x D-term generates positive contributions to the slepton masses, which is shown to solve the tachyonic slepton problem of anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB). The resulting models are very predictive, both in the SUSY breaking sector and in the Z' sector. We find M_Z' = (2-4) TeV and the Z-Z' mixing angle ξ= 0.001. Consistency with symmetry breaking and AMSB phenomenology renders the Z' "leptophobic", with Br(…
We propose an supersymmetric explanation of the diphoton excess in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with the leptonic R-parity violation. Where the sneutrino serves as the 750 GeV resonance and produced through quark anti-quark annihilation. With introducing appropriate trilinear soft parameters, we show that the diphoton branching ratio is significantly enhanced compared with the conventional MSSM. The parameter space favored by diphoton excess strongly indicates the mass of smuon and stau fall into the range $375-410$ (375-480) GeV, which depending on the electroweakino masses. In a…
