Primordial magnetic fields generated in the very early universe are one of the candidates for the origin of magnetic fields observed in galaxy clusters. After recombination, the Lorentz force acts on the residual ions and electrons to generate density fluctuations of baryons. Accordingly these fluctuations induce the early formation of dark halos which cause the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (S-Z) effect in cosmic microwave background radiation. This additional S-Z effect due to primordial magnetic fields amplifies the angular power spectrum of cosmic microwave temperature anisotropies on small scales. This amplification depends on the comoving amplitude and the power law index of the primordial magnetic fields spectrum. Comparing with the small scale CMB observations, we obtained the constraints on the primordial magnetic fields, i.e., B < 2.0 nGauss for n=-2.9 or B < 1.0 nGauss for n=-2.6, where B is the comoving amplitude of magnetic fields at h^-1 Mpc and n is the power law index. Future S-Z measurements have the potential to give constraints tighter than those from temperature anisotropies and polarization of cosmic microwave background induced by the magnetic fields at the recombination epoch.
Large-amplitude density perturbations may have collapsed during the radiation dominated epoch of the Universe to form primordial black holes (PBHs). There are several constraints to the abundance of PBHs that stem from evaporation or gravitational effects. Due to the connection between primordial perturbations and the formation of PBHs, constraints on the present-day abundance of PBHs can be translated into limits on the primordial curvature power spectrum. We introduce several new observational and forecasted constraints to the amplitude of the primordial power spectrum and incorporate in our…
We numerically study the interaction of inflation-produced magnetic fields with gravitational waves, both of which originate from quantum fluctuations during inflation. The resonance between the magnetic field perturbations and the gravitational waves has been suggested as a possible mechanism for magnetic field amplification. However, some analytical studies suggest that the effect of the inflationary gravitational waves is too small to provide significant amplification. Our numerical study shows more clearly how the interaction affects the magnetic fields and confirms the weakness of the inf…
In the model where Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) form from large primordial curvature (C) perturbations, i.e., CPBHs, constraints on PBH abundance provide in principle constraints on the primordial curvature power spectrum. This connection however depends necessarily on the details of PBH formation mechanism. In this paper we provide, for the first time, constraints on the primordial curvature power spectrum from the latest limits on PBH abundance, taking into account all the steps from gravitational collapse in real space to PBH formation. In particular, we use results from numerical relativi…
The primordial power spectrum describes the initial perturbations that seeded the large-scale structure we observe today. It provides an indirect probe of inflation or other structure-formation mechanisms. In this letter, we recover the primordial power spectrum from the Planck PR1 dataset, using our recently published algorithm PRISM. PRISM is a sparsity-based inversion method, that aims at recovering features in the primordial power spectrum from the empirical power spectrum of the cosmic microwave background (CMB). This ill-posed inverse problem is regularised using a sparsity prior on feat…
The primordial power spectrum is an indirect probe of inflation or other structure-formation mechanisms. We introduce a new method, named \textbf{PRISM}, to estimate this spectrum from the empirical cosmic microwave background (CMB) power spectrum. This is a sparsity-based inversion method, which leverages a sparsity prior on features in the primordial spectrum in a wavelet dictionary to regularise the inverse problem. This non-parametric approach is able to reconstruct the global shape as well as localised features of spectrum accurately and proves to be robust for detecting deviations from t…
We study the effects of a general type of features of the inflaton potential on the spectrum and bispectrum of primordial curvature perturbations. These features correspond to a discontinuity in the $n$-th order derivative of the potential which are dumped exponentially away from the value of the field where the feature happens. Interestingly we find that different values of the amplitude and of the order of the feature can lead to the same effects on the power spectrum on both large and short scales, and on the bispectrum at small scales. Only taking into account the bispectrum at large scale…
The primordial power spectrum describes the initial perturbations in the Universe which eventually grew into the large-scale structure we observe today, and thereby provides an indirect probe of inflation or other structure-formation mechanisms. In this paper we will investigate the best scales the primordial power spectrum can be probed, in accordance with the knowledge about other cosmological parameters such as $Ω_{b}$, $Ω_{c}$, $Ω_Λ$, $h$ and $τ$. The aim is to find the most informative way of measuring the primordial power spectrum at different length scales, using different types of surv…
We compute the real space galaxy power spectrum, including the leading order effects of General Relativity and primordial non-Gaussianity from the $f_{\mathrm{NL}}$ and $g_{\mathrm{NL}}$ parameters. Such contributions come from the one-loop matter power spectrum terms dominant at large scales, and from the factors of the non-linear bias parameter $b_{\mathrm{NL}}$ (akin to the Newtonian $b_ϕ$). We assess the detectability of these contributions in Stage-IV surveys. In particular, we note that specific values of the bias parameter may erase the primordial and relativistic contributions to the c…
The primordial power spectrum describes the initial perturbations in the Universe which eventually grew into the large-scale structure we observe today, and thereby provides an indirect probe of inflation or other structure-formation mechanisms. Here, we introduce a new method to estimate this spectrum from the empirical power spectrum of cosmic microwave background (CMB) maps. A sparsity-based linear inversion method, coined \textbf{PRISM}, is presented. This technique leverages a sparsity prior on features in the primordial power spectrum in a wavelet basis to regularise the inverse problem.…
We study the signature of primordial non-Gaussianity imprinted on the power spectrum of the 21-cm line differential brightness temperature during dark ages. Employing the perturbative treatment of gravitational clustering, we quantitatively estimate the effects of the non-Gaussian and one-loop corrections on the 21-cm power spectrum. The potential impact of the use of the 21-cm power spectrum for the constraint on local-type primordial non-Gaussianity is investigated based on the Fisher matrix analysis. Our results show that the 21-cm power spectrum for an array with a baseline of several tens…
Features in the primordial power spectrum have been suggested as an explanation for glitches in the angular power spectrum of temperature anisotropies measured by the WMAP satellite. However, these glitches might just as well be artifacts of noise or cosmic variance. Using the effective Delta chi^2 between the best-fit power-law spectrum and a deconvolved primordial spectrum as a measure of "featureness" of the data, we perform a full Monte-Carlo analysis to address the question of how significant the recovered features are. We find that in 26% of the simulated data sets the reconstructed spec…
The usual inflationary scenario predicts a Gaussian random primordial density fluctuation, different Fourier modes of which do not correlate with each other. In this paper we propose a correlation between these different modes. A simple case is that these different Fourier modes correlate with each other following a Gaussian function. For such a primordial density fluctuation we calculate the CMB angular power spectrum and find that its amplitude decreases but the decrease is different for different $l$. This feature can be used to constrain the the correlation strength from the real data.
It is well known that CMB temperature anisotropies and polarization can be used to probe the metric perturbations in the early universe. Presently, there exist neither any observational detection of tensor modes of primordial metric perturbations nor of primordial non-Gaussianity. In such a scenario, primordial power spectrum of scalar metric perturbations is the only correlation function of metric perturbations (presumably generated during inflation) whose effects can be directly probed through various observations. To explore the possibility of any deviations from the simplest picture of the…
Current analyses of the Lyman-alpha forest assume that the primordial power spectrum of density perturbations obeys a simple power law, a strong theoretical assumption which should be tested. Employing a large suite of numerical simulations which drop this assumption, we reconstruct the shape of the primordial power spectrum using Lyman-alpha data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Our method combines a minimally parametric framework with cross-validation, a technique used to avoid over-fitting the data. Future work will involve predictions for the upcoming Baryon Oscillation Sky Survey…
We consider the primordial gravity wave background produced by inflation. We compute the small anisotropy produced by the primordial scalar fluctuations.
We propose a straightforward and model independent methodology for characterizing the sensitivity of CMB and other experiments to wiggles, irregularities, and features in the primordial power spectrum. Assuming that the primordial cosmological perturbations are adiabatic, we present a function space generalization of the usual Fisher matrix formalism, applied to a CMB experiment resembling Planck with and without ancillary data. This work is closely related to other work on recovering the inflationary potential and exploring specific models of non-minimal, or perhaps baroque, primordial power …
The merger rate of black hole binaries inferred from the detections in the first Advanced LIGO science run, implies that a stochastic background produced by a cosmological population of mergers will likely mask the primordial gravitational-wave background. Here we demonstrate that the next generation of ground-based detectors, such as the Einstein Telescope and Cosmic Explorer, will be able to observe binary black hole mergers throughout the universe with sufficient efficiency that the confusion background can potentially be subtracted to observe the primordial background at the level of $Ω_{\…
We present new constraints on possible features in the primordial inflationary density perturbations power spectrum in light of the recent Cosmic Microwave Background Anisotropies measurements from the Planck satellite. We found that the Planck data hints for the presence of features in two different ranges of angular scales, corresponding to multipoles 10< l <60 and 150< l < 300, with a decrease in the best fit chi^2 value with respect to the featureless "vanilla" LCDM model of Delta chi^2 around 9 in both cases.
We present constraints on the primordial power spectrum of adiabatic fluctuations using data from the 2008 Southern Survey of the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT). The angular resolution of ACT provides sensitivity to scales beyond \ell = 1000 for resolution of multiple peaks in the primordial temperature power spectrum, which enables us to probe the primordial power spectrum of adiabatic scalar perturbations with wavenumbers up to k \simeq 0.2 Mpc^{-1}. We find no evidence for deviation from power-law fluctuations over two decades in scale. Matter fluctuations inferred from the primordial te…
Cosmic microwave background observations are most commonly analyzed by estimating the power spectrum. In the limit where the CMB statistics are perfectly Gaussian, this extracts all the information, but the CMB also contains detectable non-Gaussian contributions from secondary, and possibly primordial, sources. We review possible sources of CMB non-Gaussianity and describe statistical techniques which are optimized for measuring them, complementing the power spectrum analysis. The machinery of $N$-point correlation functions provides a unifying framework for optimal estimation of primordial no…
In this paper we revisit the issue of determining the oscillating primordial scalar power spectrum and oscillating equation of state of dark energy from the astronomical observations. By performing a global analysis with the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, we find that the current observations from five-year WMAP and SDSS-LRG matter power spectrum, as well as the "union" supernovae sample, constrain the oscillating index of primordial spectrum and oscillating equation of state of dark energy with the amplitude less than $|n_{\rm amp}|<0.116$ and $|w_{\rm amp}|<0.232$ at 95% confidence level, …
We perturbatively study the effect of non-Gaussianities on the mass fraction of primordial black holes (PBHs) at the time of formation by systematically taking its effect into account in the one-point probability distribution function of the primordial curvature perturbation. We focus on the bispectrum and trispectrum and derive formulas that describe their effects on the skewness and kurtosis of the distribution function. Then considering the case of narrowly peaked spectra, we obtain simple formulas that concisely express the effect of the bi- and trispectra. In particular, together with the…
The preferred shape for the primordial spectrum of curvature perturbations is determined by performing a Bayesian model selection analysis of cosmological observations. We first reconstruct the spectrum modelled as piecewise linear in \log k between nodes in k-space whose amplitudes and positions are allowed to vary. The number of nodes together with their positions are chosen by the Bayesian evidence, so that we can both determine the complexity supported by the data and locate any features present in the spectrum. In addition to the node-based reconstruction, we consider a set of parameteris…
We develop an accurate and efficient Bayesian method to reconstruct the primordial power spectrum in a model-independent way, and apply it to the latest cosmic microwave background measurement from Planck mission, and the large scale structure observation of SDSS-III BOSS (CMASS) sample, combined with the type Ia supernovae sample (SNLS 3-year) and the measurements of baryon acoustic oscillations from SDSS-II, 6dF, and WiggleZ survey. We confirm that the scale-invariant primordial power spectrum is strongly disfavored, and a model with suppressed power on horizon scales is supported by current…
We consider the process of primordial black hole (PBH) formation originated from primordial curvature perturbations produced during waterfall transition (with tachyonic instability), at the end of hybrid inflation. It is known that in such inflation models, rather large values of curvature perturbation amplitudes can be reached, which can potentially cause a significant PBH production in the early Universe. The probability distributions of density perturbation amplitudes in this case can be strongly non-Gaussian, which requires a special treatment. We calculated PBH abundances and PBH mass spe…
We introduce a new method for reconstructing the primordial power spectrum, $P(k)$, directly from observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). We employ Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) to invert the radiation perturbation transfer function. The degeneracy of the multipole $\ell$ to wavenumber $k$ linear mapping is thus reduced. This enables the inversion to be carried out at each point along a Monte Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) exploration of the combined $P(k)$ and cosmological parameter space. We present best--fit $P(k)$ obtained with this method along with other cosmological param…
The simplest models of inflation predict small non-gaussianities and a featureless power spectrum. However, there exist a large number of well-motivated theoretical scenarios in which large non-gaussianties could be generated. In general, in these scenarios the primordial power spectrum will deviate from its standard power law shape. We study, in a model-independent manner, the constraints from future large scale structure surveys on the local non-gaussianity parameter $f_{\rm NL}$ when the standard power law assumption for the primordial power spectrum is relaxed. If the analyses are restrict…
In this work we explore the possibility of variations in the primordial scalar power spectrum around the power-law shape, as predicted by single-field slow-roll inflationary scenarios. We search for the trace of these fluctuations in a semi-blind, model-independent way on the observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) sky. In particular we use two sets of perturbation patterns, specific patterns with typical features such as oscillations, bumps and transitions, as well as perturbation modes, constructed from the eigenanalysis of the forecasted or measured covariance of perturbation …
Galaxy surveys are an important probe for superimposed oscillations on the primordial power spectrum of curvature perturbations, which are predicted in several theoretical models of inflation and its alternatives. In order to exploit the full cosmological information in galaxy surveys it is necessary to study the matter power spectrum to fully non-linear scales. We therefore study the non-linear clustering in models with superimposed linear and logarithmic oscillations to the primordial power spectrum by running high-resolution dark-matter-only N-body simulations. We fit a Gaussian envelope fo…
We explore the potential of the B-mode anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (CMB) to constrain the shape of the primordial tensor power spectrum in a model-independent way. We expand possible perturbations to the power-law primordial tensor spectrum (predicted by the simplest single-field slow-roll inflationary models) using various sets of localized and nonlocalized basis functions and construct the Fisher matrix for their amplitudes. The eigen-analysis of the Fisher matrix would then yield a hierarchy of uncorrelated perturbation patterns (called tensor eigenmodes or TeM…
As a test of the standard inflationary cosmology, which generically predicts nearly scale-invariant spectrum of primordial curvature fluctuations, we perform Markov-Chain Monte-Carlo analysis to search for possible modulations in the power spectrum and determine its shape together with the cosmological parameters using cosmic microwave background radiation data. By incorporating various three-parameter features on the simple power-law spectrum, we find an oscillatory modulation localized around the comoving wavenumber $k\simeq 0.009\mathrm{Mpc}^{-1}$ at 99.995% confidence level which improves …
Primordial non-Gaussianity is a crucial test of inflationary cosmology. We consider the impact of non-Gaussianity on the ionization power spectrum from 21 cm emission during the epoch of reionization. We focus on the power spectrum on large scales at redshifts of 7 to 8 and explore the expected constraint on the local non-Gaussianity parameter f_NL for current and next-generation 21 cm experiments. We show that experiments such as SKA and MWA could measure f_NL values of order 10. This can be improved by an order of magnitude with a fast-Fourier transform telescope like Omniscope.
We consider an inhomogeneous model and independently an anisotropic model of primordial power spectrum in order to describe the observed hemispherical anisotropy in Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. This anisotropy can be parametrized in terms of the dipole modulation model of the temperature field. Both the models lead to correlations between spherical harmonic coefficients corresponding to multipoles, l and l \pm 1. We obtain the model parameters by making a fit to TT correlations in CMBR data. Using these parameters we predict the signature of our models for correlations among differen…
We present a minimally parametric, model independent reconstruction of the shape of the primordial power spectrum. Our smoothing spline technique is well-suited to search for smooth features such as deviations from scale invariance, and deviations from a power law such as running of the spectral index or small-scale power suppression. We use a comprehensive set of the state-of the art cosmological data: {\it Planck} observations of the temperature and polarisation anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background, WiggleZ and Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 7 galaxy power spectra and the C…
The primordial matter power spectrum quantifies fluctuations in the distribution of dark matter immediately following inflation. Over cosmic time, over-dense regions of the primordial density field grow and collapse into dark matter halos, whose abundance and density profiles retain memory of the initial conditions. By analyzing the image magnifications in eleven strongly-lensed and quadruply-imaged quasars, we infer the abundance and concentrations of low-mass halos, and cast the measurement in terms of the amplitude of the primordial matter power spectrum. We anchor the power spectrum on lar…
Extracting the bispectrum information from the large scale structure observations is challenging due to the complex models and the computational costs to measure the signal and its covariance. Recently, the skew spectrum was proposed to access parts of the bispectrum information with a more effective way and has been confirmed it can provide complementary information to that enclosed in the power spectrum measurements. In this work, we generalize the theory to apply the multitracer technique and explore its ability to constrain the local type primordial non-Gaussianity. Using the spectra and t…
We study the effects of sudden change in the sound velocity on primordial curvature perturbation spectrum in inflationary cosmology, assuming that the background evolution satisfies the slow-roll condition throughout. It is found that the power spectrum acquires oscillating features which are determined by the ratio of the sound speed before and after the transition and the wavenumeber which crosses the sound horizon at the transition, and their analytic expression is given. In some values of those parameters, the oscillating primordial power spectrum can better fit the observed Cosmic Microwa…
We present a minimally-parametric reconstruction of the primordial power spectrum using the most recent cosmic microwave background and large scale structure data sets. Our goal is to constrain the shape of the power spectrum while simultaneously avoiding strong theoretical priors and over-fitting of the data. We find no evidence for any departure from a power law spectral index. We also find that an exact scale-invariant power spectrum is disfavored by the data, but this conclusion is weaker than the corresponding result assuming a theoretically-motivated power law spectral index prior. The r…
We constrain the primordial non-Gaussianity parameter of the local model f_{NL} using the skewness power spectrum associated with the two-to-one cumulant correlator of cosmic microwave background temperature anisotropies. This bispectrum-related power spectrum was constructed after weighting the temperature map with the appropriate window functions to form an estimator that probes the multipolar dependence of the underlying bispectrum associated with the primordial non-Gaussianity. We also estimate a separate skewness power spectrum sensitive more strongly to unresolved point sources. When com…
Many inflation theories predict that the primordial power spectrum is scale invariant. The amplitude of the power spectrum can be constrained by different observations such as the cosmic microwave background (CMB), Lyman-$α$, large-scale structures and primordial black holes (PBHs). Although the constraints from the CMB are robust, the corresponding scales are very large ($10^{-4}<k<1 \mathrm{Mpc^{-1}}$). For small scales ($k > 1 \mathrm{Mpc^{-1}}$), the research on the PBHs provides much weaker limits. Recently, ultracompact dark matter minihalos (UCMHs) was proposed and it was found that the…
We investigate the stochastic gravitational wave background produced by primordial black hole binaries during their early inspiral stage while accreting high-density radiation surrounding them in the early universe. We first show that the gravitational wave amplitude produced from a primordial black hole binary has correction terms because of the rapid rate of increase in masses of the primordial black holes. These correction terms arise due to non-vanishing first and second time derivatives of the masses and their contribution to the overall second time derivative of quadrupole moment tensor.…
After reionisation, the 21cm emission line of neutral hydrogen within galaxies provides a tracer of dark matter. Next-generation intensity mapping surveys, with the SKA and other radio telescopes, will cover large sky areas and a wide range of redshifts, facilitating their use as probes of primordial non-Gaussianity. {Previous works have shown that the bispectrum can achieve tight constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity with future surveys that are purposely designed for intensity mapping in interferometer mode}. Here we investigate the constraints attainable from surveys operating in single…
We constrain the shape of the primordial power spectrum using recent measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) 7-year data and other high-resolution CMB experiments. We also include observations of the matter power spectrum from the luminous red galaxy (LRG) subset DR7 of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). We consider two different models of the primordial power spectrum. The first is the standard nearly scale-invariant spectrum in the form of a generalised power-law parameterised in terms of the spectral amplitude $A_{\rm s}$,…
One of the characteristics of the "Matter Bounce" scenario, an alternative to cosmological inflation for producing a scale-invariant spectrum of primordial adiabatic fluctuations on large scales, is a break in the power spectrum at a characteristic scale, below which the spectral index changes from n = 1 to n = 3. We study the constraints which current cosmological data place on the location of such a break, and more generally on the position of the break and the slope at length scales smaller than the break. The observational data we use include the WMAP five-year data set (WMAP5), other CMB …
We perform a consistent calculation of primordial black hole (PBH) mass spectrum and second-order induced gravitational wave (GW) background produced from primordial scalar perturbations in radiation era of the early Universe. It is shown that the maximal amplitudes of the second order GW spectrum that can be approached without conflicting with the PBH data do not depend significantly on the shape of primordial perturbation spectrum. The constraints on the GW background obtained in previous works are extended to a wider GW frequency range. We discuss the applicability of the currently availabl…
Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) can form in the radiation dominated early Universe from the collapse of large density perturbations produced by inflation. A power-law parameterisation of the primordial power spectrum is often used to extrapolate from cosmological scales, where the amplitude of the perturbations is well-measured by Cosmic Microwave Background and Large Scale Structure observations, down to the small scales on which PBHs may form. We show that this typically leads to large errors in the amplitude of the fluctuations on small scales, and hence extremely inaccurate calculations of t…
We discuss the issue of how precisely we can measure the primordial power spectrum by using future observations of 21 cm fluctuations and cosmic microwave background (CMB). For this purpose, we investigate projected constraints on the quantities characterizing primordial power spectrum: the spectral index n_s, its running alpha_s and even its higher order running beta_s. We show that future 21 cm observations in combinations with CMB would accurately measure above mentioned observables of primordial power spectrum. We also discuss its implications to some explicit inflationary models.
We study the effect of curvaton decay on the primordial power spectrum. Using analytical approximations and also numerical calculations, we find that the power spectrum is enhanced during the radiation dominated era after the curvaton decay. The amplitude of the Bardeen potential is controlled by the fraction of the energy density in the curvaton at the time of curvaton decay. We show that the enhancement in the amplitude of the primordial curvature perturbation is, however, not large enough to lead to primordial black hole overproduction on scales which re-enter the horizon after the time of …
The observational data of primordial black holes and scalar-induced gravitational waves can constrain the primordial curvature perturbation at small scales. We parameterize the primordial curvature perturbation by a broken power law form and find that it is consistent with many inflation models that can produce primordial black holes, such as nonminimal derivative coupling inflation, scalar-tensor inflation, Gauss-Bonnet inflation, and K/G inflation. The constraints from primordial black holes on the primordial curvature power spectrum with the broken power law form are obtained, where the fra…
The properties of primordial curvature perturbations on small scales are still unknown while those on large scales have been well probed by the observations of the cosmic microwave background anisotropies and the large scale structure. In this paper, we propose the reconstruction method of primordial curvature perturbations on small scales through the merger rate of binary primordial black holes, which could form from large primordial curvature perturbation on small scales.
Gravitational waves from inflation induce polarization patterns in the cosmic microwave background (CMB). It is known that there are only two types of non-Gaussianities of the gravitaional waves in the most general scalar field theories having second-order field equations. One originates from the inherent non-Gaussianity in general relativity, and the other from a derivative coupling between the Einstein tensor and a kinetic term of the scalar field. We calculate polarization bispectra induced by these non-Gaussianities by transforming them into separable forms by virtue of the Laplace transfo…
We derive constraints on primordial power spectrum, for the first time, from galaxy UV luminosity functions (LFs) at high redshifts. Since the galaxy LFs reflect an underlying halo mass function which depends on primordial fluctuations, one can constrain primordial power spectrum, particularly on small scales. We perform a Markov Chain Monte Carlo analysis by varying parameters for primordial power spectrum as well as those describing astrophysics. We adopt the UV LFs derived from Hubble Frontier Fields data at $z = 6 -10$, which enable us to probe primordial fluctuations on the scales of $k \…
As a candidate bound for the Binary Black Hole (BBH) merger events detected by LIGO/Virgo, Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) provide a useful tool to investigate the primordial curvature perturbations on small scales. Using the GWTC-1 to GWTC-3 catalogs, under the scenario that PBHs originate from large primordial curvature perturbations on small scales during inflationary epoch, we for the first time reconstruct the power spectrum of primordial curvature perturbations on small scales. It is found that the value of the amplitude of the primordial power spectrum is enhanced to $\mathcal{O}(10^{-2})…
We present a new insight into the interpretation of the primordial spectrum of scalar particles density perturbations. On the assumption of spectrum universality, i.e., that the mean energy density and the typical value of inhomogeneity can be chosen arbitrarily in the framework of the model considered, the form of the spectrum becomes completely defined. It is close to the flat Harrison-Zeldovich spectrum, but with the suppressed low-frequency modes.
