On the theory of phase transition in muliferroics

In this paper we investigate peculiarities of phase transition high-symmetry - incommensurate phase in inhomogeneous systems. We obtain the nonlinear dispersion law and then present a renormalization group analysis of phase transitions in multiferroics. We have determined the dependence of critical indices on the nonextensivity parameter of the system.

Some Peculiarities of Proton Transport in Quasi-One-Dimensional Hydrogen-Bonded Chains

The protonic conductivity in the hydrogen bonded chains is investigated theoretically in the framework of the two-stage transport model. The strong interactions with optical phonon stretching mode are considered. Peculiarities in the behavior of the entropy diameter for molecular liquids as the reflection of molecular rotations and the excluded volume effects

The behavior of the diameter of the coexistence curve in terms of the entropy and the corresponding diameter are investigated. It is shown that the diameter of the coexistence curve in term of the entropy is sensitive to the change in the character of the rotational motion of the molecule in liquid phase which is governed by the short range correlations. The model of the compressible effective volume is proposed to describe the phase coexistence both in terms of the density and the entropy.

Shift of close-packed basal planes as an order parameter of transitions between antiferromangetic phases in solid oxygen: II. Temperature/pressure dependence of sound velocities and lattice parameters

In the present paper we generalised a phenomenological model developed in \cite{gomo:2005} for the description of magnetostructural phase transitions and related peculiarities of elastic properties in solid oxygen under high pressure and/or low (below 40 K) temperature. We show that variation of all the lattice parameters in the vicinity of $αβ$-phase transition is due to both the shift of basal closed packed planes and appearance of the long-range magnetic order. Magnetization and Magnetoscrition of van Vleck antiferromagnets with magnetic anisotropy of "easy-plane" type

The theoretical description of quantum phase transition, induced by the external magnetic field, into antiferromagnetic state in the van Vleck - singlet - magnet with a single-ion anisotropy of "easy-plane" type and ion spin S=1 is proposed. Percolation in complex networks is viewed as both: a process that mimics network degradation and a tool that reveals peculiarities of the underlying network structure. The isotropic spin one-half XY chain in transverse field (XX chain) has specific ground state phase with permanent criticality (quasi-long-range ordered, QLRO, phase) which exists in a field less than nearest-neighbor exchange.
