The Split SUSY scenario with light Higgsino states is treated as an application to the Dark Matter problem. We have considered the structure of the neutralino-nucleon interaction and calculated cross-section of the neutralino-nucleon scattering. The decay properties of the lightest chargino and next lightest neutralino are analyzed in details.
We investigate a possibility to explain the discrepancy between the Standard Model predictions and the observed value of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon within unorthodox SUSY scenarios in which neutralinos are unstable. We start by reviewing the muon g-2 calculations in the MSSM and confront it with the most up-to-date experimental constraints. We find out that the next generation of direct detection DM experiments combined with the current LHC results will ultimately test the parameter region that can explain the $(g-2)_μ$ anomaly in the MSSM. Next, we study R-parity violating and …
Non-universal gaugino mass models can naturally account for the dark matter relic density via the bulk annihilation process with relatively light bino LSP and right sleptons in the mass range of ~ 100 GeV, while accommodating the observed Higgs boson mass of ~ 125 GeV with TeV scale squark/gluino masses. A class of these models can also account for the observed muon g-2 anomaly via SUSY loops with wino and left sleptons in the mass range of 400 -- 700 GeV. These models can be tested at LHC via electroweak production of charged and neutral wino pair, leading to robust trilepton and same sign di…
We consider relatively rare events of SUSY production at the LHC without missing $p_T$. Namely, we discuss the chargino production with further decay into the W-boson and the neutralino when the masses of chargino and neutralino differ by 80-90 GeV. In this case, in the final state one has two Ws and missing $E_T$ but no missing $P_T$. The produced neutralinos are just busted along Ws. Within the MSSM such events are quite probable in the region of parameter space close to the EWSB border line. The excess in the W production cross-section may achieve a few \%.
We examine mixed axion/neutralino cold dark matter production in the SUSY DFSZ axion model where an axion superfield couples to Higgs superfields. We calculate a wide array of axino and saxion decay modes along with their decay temperatures, and thermal and non-thermal production rates. For a SUSY benchmark model with a standard underabundance (SUA) of Higgsino-like dark matter (DM), we find for the PQ scale f_a< 10^{12} GeV that the DM abundance is mainly comprised of axions as the saxion/axino decay occurs before the standard neutralino freeze-out and thus its abundance remains suppressed. F…
The lack of evidence for weak scale supersymmetry from LHC Run-I and Run-II results along with null results from direct/indirect dark matter detection experiment have caused a paradigm shift in expected phenomenology of SUSY models. The SUSY dark matter candidate, neutralino $\widetilde{Z}_1$, can only satisfy the measured dark matter abundance due to resonance- and co-annihilations in cMSSM model. Moreover, viable parameter space is highly fine-tuned in the cMSSM. In models that can still satisfy the naturalness condition such as NUHM2, the neutralino is underproduced due to its higgsino natu…
The addition of the QCD axion to the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) not only solves the strong CP problem but also modifies the dark sector with new dark matter candidates. While SUSY axion phenomenology is usually restricted to searches for the axion itself or searches for the ordinary SUSY particles, this work focuses on scenarios where the axion's superpartner, the axino, may be detectable at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the decays of neutralinos displaced from the primary vertex. In particular, we focus on the KSVZ axino within the hadronic axion window. The decay lengt…

If weak scale supersymmetry (SUSY) is to somehow explain the radiative stability of the Higgs boson mass, it is likely that non-minimal variants of SUSY models should be considered. Under the assumption that the dark matter of the universe is comprised of neutralinos, recent limits from direct detection experiments as well as dark matter abundance measurements place stringent bounds on the naturalness of minimal supersymmetric models. We show that even non-minimal models introducing moderately decoupled new physics in order to address the Higgs boson mass problem face similar issues, with one …
We consider a specific class of events of the SUSY particle production at the LHC without missing p_T. Namely, we discuss the chargino pair production with a further decay into the W-boson and the neutralino when the masses of the chargino and neutralino differ by 80-90 GeV. In this case, in the final state one has two Ws and missing E_T but no missing P_T. The produced neutralinos are just boosted along Ws. For a demonstration we consider the MSSM with non-universal gaugino masses. In this case, such events are quite probable in the region of parameter space where the lightest chargino and ne…
The supersymmetrized DFSZ axion model is highly motivated not only because it offers solutions to both the gauge hierarchy and strong CP problems, but also because it provides a solution to the SUSY mu problem which naturally allows for a Little Hierarchy. We compute the expected mixed axion-neutralino dark matter abundance for the SUSY DFSZ axion model in two benchmark cases-- a natural SUSY model with a standard neutralino underabundance (SUA) and an mSUGRA/CMSSM model with a standard overabundance (SOA). Our computation implements coupled Boltzmann equations which track the radiation densit…
