We examine cancellation of long-range forces in Einstein-Maxwell-Dilatonic system. Several conditions of the equilibrium of two charged masses in general relativity is found by many authors. These conditions are altered by taking account of dilatonic field. Under the new condition, we show cancellation of $1/r^2$ potential using Feynman diagrams.

In the present paper we investigate the general problem of uniqueness of the stationary black solutions in 5D Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton gravity with arbitrary dilaton coupling parameter containing the Einstein-Maxwell gravity as a particular case. We formulate and prove uniqueness theorems classifying the stationary black hole solutions in terms of their interval structure, electric and magnetic charges and the magnetic fluxes. The proofs are based on the nonpositivity of the Riemann curvature operator on the space of the potentials which imposes restrictions on the dilaton coupling parameter.

In this paper we consider the holographic DC and Hall conductivity in Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton in Gauss-Bonnet gravity with momentum dissipation. We present an exact solution describing a stationary and axisymmetric object with electromagnetic and dilaton fields. The solution generalizes the usual Kerr-Taub-NUT (Newman-Unti-Tamburino) spacetime in general relativity and is obtained by boosting this spacetime in the fifth dimension and performing a Kaluza-Klein reduction to four dimensions. We also discuss the physical parameters of this solution and calculate its gyromagnetic ratio.

We investigate the holographic DC and Hall conductivity in massive Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton (EMD) gravity. Two special EMD backgrounds are considered explicitly. One is dyonic Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m-AdS (RN-AdS) geometry and the other one is hyperscaling violation AdS (HV-AdS) geometry. We find that the linear-T resistivity and quadratic-T inverse Hall angle can be simultaneously achieved in HV-AdS models, providing a hint to construct holographic models confronting with the experimental data of strange metal in future.

In the present paper we investigate the Hawking radiation of asymptotically non-flat dyonic black holes in 4D Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton gravity in semi-classical approximation. We construct charged black hole solutions with hyperscaling violation in the infrared(IR) region in Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton-Axion theory and investigate the temperature behavior of the ratio of holographic shear viscosity to the entropy density. When translational symmetry breaking is relevant in the IR, the power law of the ratio is testified numerically at low temperature $T$, namely, $η/s\sim T^κ$, where the values of exponent $κ$ coincide with the analytical results. We also find that the exponent $κ$ is not affected by irrelevant current, but is reduced by the relevant current.

In this paper we give an electrically charged traversable wormhole solution for the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory when the dilaton is a phantom field, i.e. it has flipped sign kinetic term appearing in the action. In the limit when the charge is zero, we recover the anti-Fisher solution, which can be reduced to the Bronnikov-Ellis solution under certain choices of integration constants. The equations of motion of this theory share the same S-duality invariance of string theory, so the electrically charged solution is rotated into the magnetically charged one by applying such transformations.…
