In this paper we make an attempt to combine the two kinds of data from the Swift-XRT instrument (windowed timing and photon counting modes) and the from BAT. A thorough desription of the applied procedure will be given. We apply various binning techniques to the different data: Bayes blocks, exponential binning and signal-to-noise type of binning. We present a handful of lightcurves and some possible applications.

Correlations between X-ray and water maser emission in AGN have been recently reported. However, the lack of systematic studies affects the confidence level of these results. We present here the analysis of the 1-month binned Swift/BAT lightcurves of the 20 brightest Active Galactic Nuclei in the hard X-ray sky. The Swift/BAT nine-month survey observed 153 AGN, all with ultra-hard X-ray BAT fluxes in excess of 10^-11 erg cm^-2 s^-1 and an average redshift of 0.03. Hard X-ray ($\geq 10$ keV) observations of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) can shed light on some of the most obscured episodes of accretion onto supermassive black holes. The 70-month Swift/BAT all-sky survey, which probes the 14-195 keV energy range, has currently detected 838 AGN. We present deep Swift follow-up observations of a sample of 94 unidentified X-ray sources from the XMM-Newton Slew Survey. The X-ray Telescope on-board Swift detected 29% of the sample sources; the flux limits for undetected sources suggests the bulk of the Slew Survey sources are drawn from one or more transient populations. The Swift Gamma-Ray Burst satellite has detected a largely unbiased towards absorption sample of local ($<z> \approx 0.03$) AGN, based solely on their 14--195 keV flux. Hard X-ray surveys like those provided by IBIS and BAT on board the INTEGRAL and Swift satellites list a significant number of sources which are unidentified and/or unclassified and which deserve multiwaveband observations to be properly characterized. We present the results of a deep spectral analysis of all Swift observations of Mrk 421 between April 2006 and July 2006, when it reached its highest X-ray flux recorded until the end of 2006. We completed this data set with other historical X-ray observations. We used the full data set to investigate the correlation between the spectral parameters. We present the catalog of sources detected in the first 22 months of data from the hard X-ray survey (14--195 keV) conducted with the BAT coded mask imager on the \swift satellite. The catalog contains 461 sources detected above the 4.8 sigma level with BAT. High angular resolution X-ray data for every source from Swift XRT or archival data have allowed associations to be made with known counterparts in other wavelength bands for over 97% of the detections, including the discovery of ~30 galaxies previously unknown as AGN and several new Galactic sources.
