Conformally flat Kaluza-Klein spaces, pseudo-/para-complex space forms and generalized gravitational kinks

The equations describing the Kaluza-Klein reduction of conformally flat spaces are investigated in arbitrary dimensions. Special classes of solution related to pseudo-Kahler and para-Kahler structures are constructed and classified according to spacetime dimension, signature and gauge field rank. Remarkably, rank two solutions include gravitational kinks together with their centripetal and centrifugal deformations.

Conformal flatness, non-Abelian Kaluza-Klein and the Quaternions

Maximally symmetric manifolds with holonomy in the unitary quaternionic group Sp(d/4) emerge from the non-Abelian Kaluza-Klein reduction of conformally flat spaces. Thus, all special manifolds with constant properly `holonomy-related' sectional curvature, are in natural correspondence with conformally flat, possibly non-Abelian, Kaluza-Klein spaces.

Kaluza-Klein reduction of conformally flat spaces is considered for arbitrary dimensions. The corresponding equations are particularly elegant for the reduction from four to three dimensions. Assuming circular symmetry leads to explicit solutions which also arise from specific two-dimensional dilaton gravity actions.

Centrifugal deformations of the gravitational kink

The Kaluza-Klein reduction of 4d conformally flat spacetimes is reconsidered. The corresponding 3d equations are shown to be equivalent to 2d gravitational kink equations augmented by a centrifugal term. For space-like gauge fields and non-trivial values of the centrifugal term the gravitational kink solutions describe a spacetime that is divided in two disconnected regions.

Hamiltonian Map to Conformal Modification of Spacetime Metric: Kaluza-Klein and TeVeS

It has been shown that the orbits of motion for a wide class of nonrelativistic Hamiltonian systems can be described as geodesic flows on a manifold and an associated dual. This method can be applied to a four dimensional manifold of orbits in spacetime associated with a relativistic system. We show that a relativistic Hamiltonian which generates Einstein geodesics, with the addition of a world scalar field, can be put into correspondence with another Hamiltonian with conformally modified metric. Generalized Kaluza-Klein monopole, quadratic algebras and ladder operators

We present a generalized Kaluza-Klein monopole system. We solve this quantum superintegrable systems on a Euclidean Taub Nut manifold using the separation of variables of the corresponding Schroedinger equation in spherical and parabolic coordinates. On the Integrability of Supersymmetric Versions of the Structural Equations for Conformally Parametrized Surfaces

The paper presents the bosonic and fermionic supersymmetric extensions of the structural equations describing conformally parametrized surfaces immersed in a Grasmann superspace, based on the authors' earlier results. Almost conformally Einstein manifolds and obstructions

A Riemannian or pseudo-Riemannian (or conformal) structure is conformally Einstein if and only if there is a suitably generic parallel section of a certain vector bundle -- the so-called standard conformal tractor bundle. We show that this characterisation leads to a systematic approach to constructing obstructions to conformally Einstein metrics. Relaxing the requirement that the parallel tractor field be generic gives a natural generalisation of the Einstein equations.

Based on a mathematical lemma related to the Vandermonde determinant and two theorems derived from the first law of black hole thermodynamics, we investigate the angular momentum independence of the entropy sum as well as the entropy product of general rotating Kaluza-Klein black holes in higher dimensions. Supersymmetric version of the equations of conformally parametrized surfaces

In this paper, we formulate a supersymmetric extension of the Gauss-Weingarten and Gauss-Codazzi equations for conformally parametrized surfaces immersed in a Grassmann superspace. Toward Classification of 2nd Order Superintegrable Systems in 3-Dimensional Conformally Flat Spaces with Functionally Linearly Dependent Symmetry Operators

We make significant progress toward the classification of 2nd order superintegrable systems on 3-dimensional conformally flat space that have functionally linearly dependent (FLD) symmetry generators, with special emphasis on complex Euclidean space.
