Nonextensive perfect hydrodynamics - a model of dissipative relativistic hydrodynamics?

We demonstrate that nonextensive perfect relativistic hydrodynamics ($q$-hydrodynamics) can serve as a model of the usual relativistic dissipative hydrodynamics ($d$-hydrodynamics) facilitating therefore considerably its applications. As illustration we show how using $q$-hydrodynamics one gets the $q$-dependent expressions for the dissipative entropy current and the corresponding ratios of the bulk and shear viscosities to entropy density, $ζ/s$ and $η/s$.

Causal dissipative hydrodynamics obtained from the nonextensive/dissipative correspondence

We derive the constitutive equations of causal relativistic dissipative hydrodynamics ($d$-hydrodynamics) from perfect nonextensive hydrodynamics ($q$-hydrodynamics) using the nonextensive/dissipative correspondence (NexDC) proposed by us recently. The $q$-hydrodynamics can be thus regarded as a possible model for the $d$-hydrodynamics facilitating its application to high energy multiparticle production processes. As an example we have shown that applying the NexDC to the perfect 1+1 $q$-hydrodynamics, one obtains a proper time evolution of the bulk pressure and the Reynolds number.

Nonextensive hydrodynamics for relativistic heavy-ion collisions

The nonextensive one-dimensional version of a hydrodynamical model for multiparticle production processes is proposed and discussed. It is based on nonextensive statistics assumed in the form proposed by Tsallis and characterized by a nonextensivity parameter $q$. In this formulation the parameter $q$ characterizes some specific form of local equilibrium which is characteristic for the nonextensive thermodynamics and which replaces the usual local thermal equilibrium assumption of the usual hydrodynamical models. New Method of Modelling Dissipative Hydrodynamics

We propose to model the dissipative hydrodynamics used in description of the multiparticle production processes ($d$-hydrodynamics) by a special kind of the perfect nonextensive fluid ($q$-fluid) where $q$ denotes the nonextensivity parameter appearing in the nonextensive Tsallis statistics. The advantage of $q$-hydrodynamics lies in its formal simplicity in comparison to the $d$-hydrodynamics. We argue that parameter $q$ describes summarily (at least to some extent) all dynamical effects behind the viscous behavior of the hadronic fluid.

Relativistic Nonextensive Thermodynamics

Starting from the basic prescriptions of the Tsallis' nonextensive thermostatistics, i.e. generalized entropy and normalized q-expectation values, we study the relativistic nonextensive thermodynamics and derive a Boltzmann transport equation that implies the validity of the H-theorem where a local nonextensive four-entropy density is considered. Macroscopic thermodynamic functions and the equation of state for a perfect gas are derived at the equilibrium.

In this paper we obtain an analytical solution of the relativistic Boltzmann equation under the relaxation time approximation that describes the out-of-equilibrium dynamics of a radially expanding massless gas. Highly-anisotropic and strongly-dissipative hydrodynamics for early stages of relativistic heavy-ion collisions

We introduce a new framework of highly-anisotropic hydrodynamics that includes dissipation effects. Dissipation is defined by the form of the entropy source that depends on the pressure anisotropy and vanishes for the isotropic fluid. With a simple ansatz for the entropy source obeying general physical requirements, we are led to a non-linear equation describing the time evolution of the anisotropy in purely-longitudinal boost-invariant systems. Dissipative Spin Dynamics in Relativistic Matter

Using classical description of spin degrees of freedom, we extend recent formulation of the perfect-fluid hydrodynamics for spin-polarized fluids to the case including dissipation. Our work is based on the analysis of classical kinetic equations for massive particles with spin-1/2, with the collision terms treated in the relaxation time approximation. The kinetic-theory framework determines the structure of viscous and diffusive terms and allows to explicitly calculate a complete set of new kinetic coefficients that characterize dissipative spin dynamics.

New, multipole solutions of relativistic, viscous hydrodynamics

We present a new class of exact fireball solutions of relativistic dissipative hydrodynamics. We describe new exact solutions both for the relativistic Navier-Stokes and for the Israel-Stewart theory, for arbitrary shear and bulk viscosities, as well as for other dissipative coefficients. Dissipative Hydrodynamics and Heavy Ion Collisions

Recent discussions of RHIC data emphasized the exciting possibility that the matter produced in nucleus-nucleus collisions shows properties of a near-perfect fluid.
