Some properties of the non-commutative (NC) versions of the generalized sine-Gordon model (NCGSG) and its dual massive Thirring theory are studied. Our method relies on the NC extension of integrable models and the master lagrangian approach to deal with dual theories. The master lagrangian turns out to be the NC version of the so-called affine Toda model coupled to matter related to the group GL(n), in which the Toda field $g \subset GL(n), (n=2, 3)$. Moreover, as a reduction of GL(3) NCGSG one gets a NC version of the remarkable double sine-Gordon model.

Toda chain from the kink-antikink lattice

In this paper, we have studied the kink and antikink solutions in several neutral scalar models in 1+1 dimension. We follow the standard approach to write down the leading order and the second order force between long distance separated kink and antikink. The leading order force is proportional to exponential decay with respect to the distance between the two nearest kinks or antikinks. Near integrability of kink lattice with higher order interactions

In the paper, we make use of Manton's analytical method to investigate the force between kink and the anti-kink with large distance in $1+1$ dimensional field theory. The related potential has infinite order corrections of exponential pattern, and coefficients for each order are determined. These coefficients can also be obtained by solving the equation of the fluctuation around the vacuum. At the lowest order, the kink lattice represents the Toda lattice. Non-unitarity in quantum affine Toda theory and perturbed conformal field theory

There has been some debate about the validity of quantum affine Toda field theory at imaginary coupling, owing to the non-unitarity of the action, and consequently of its usefulness as a model of perturbed conformal field theory. Solitons, kinks and extended hadron model based on the generalized sine-Gordon theory

The solitons and kinks of the generalized $sl(3, \IC)$ sine-Gordon (GSG) model are explicitly obtained through the hybrid of the Hirota and dressing methods in which the {\sl tau} functions play an important role. SU(N) affine Toda solitons and breathers from transparent Dirac potentials

Transparent scalar and pseudoscalar potentials in the one-dimensional Dirac equation play an important role as self-consistent mean fields in 1+1 dimensional four-fermion theories (Gross-Neveu, Nambu-Jona Lasinio models) and quasi-one dimensional superconductors (Bogoliubov-De Gennes equation). Segmented strings coupled to a B-field

In this paper we study segmented strings in AdS$_3$ coupled to a background two-form whose field strength is proportional to the volume form. By changing the coupling, the theory interpolates between the Nambu-Goto string and the $SL(2)$ Wess-Zumino-Witten model. In terms of the kink momentum vectors, the action is independent of the coupling and the classical theory reduces to a single discrete-time Toda-type theory. The WZW model is a singular point in coupling space where the map into Toda variables degenerates.

Spectra of RSOS Soliton Theories

We study here the spectrum of soliton scattering theories based on interaction round the face lattice models. We take for the admissibility condition the fusion rules of each of the simple Lie algebras. It is found that the mass spectrum is given by that of the corresponding Toda theory, or, that the mass ratios of the different kinks in the model are described by the Perron--Frobenius vector of the Cartan matrix. The scalar part of the soliton amplitude is shown to be identical with the minimal part of the corresponding Toda amplitude.

Majorana zero mode-soliton duality and in-gap and BIC bound states in modified Toda model coupled to fermion

A two-dimensional field theory of a fermion chirally coupled to Toda field plus a scalar self-coupling potential is considered. Using techniques of integrable systems we obtain analytical zero modes, in-gap states and bound states in the continuum (BIC) for topological configurations of the scalar field. Fermion-soliton duality mappings are uncovered for the bound state spectrum, which interpolates the weak and strong coupling sectors of the model and give rise to novel Thirring-like and multi-frequency sine-Gordon models, respectively. Generalized sine-Gordon model and baryons in two-dimensional QCD

We consider the sl(3,C) affine Toda model coupled to matter (Dirac spinor) (ATM) and through a gauge fixing procedure we obtain the classical version of the generalized sl(3,C) sine-Gordon model (cGSG) which completely decouples from the Dirac spinors.
