We discuss the collider signatures of electroweak (1,0)-mode excitations in the framework of two universal extra dimension (2UED) at the LHC and ILC. In general, pair production of electroweak (1,0)-mode particles of 2UED gives rise to multi lepton plus missing transverse momentum signal. Upto 1/R = 400 GeV two lepton plus missing transverse momentum signal and upto 1/R = 600 GeV three lepton plus missing transverse momentum signal stands over the $5σ$ standard deviation of the Standard Model background at the LHC with $100 fb^{-1}$ integrated luminosity. At ILC we study single photon plus missing energy signal from the production of U(1) gauge boson in association with a U(1) spinless adjoint. With proper choice of beam polarization, signal strength is greater than $5σ$ standard deviation of the Standard Model background almost upto the kinematic limit of the collider.
We explore the possibility of detecting lepton flavour violation, now a well established experimental fact, at the International Linear Collider. Using a model independent approach we conclude that, given all experimental constraints available, there is still room to detect lepton flavour violation at the ILC.
Two important features of TeV-scale radiative seesaw models, in which tiny neutrino masses are generated at the quantum level, are an extended scalar (Higgs) sector and the Majorana nature. We study phenomenological aspects of these models at the ILC. It is found that the Majorana nature of the models can be tested directly via the electron-positron and electron-electron collision experiments.
The T-odd leptons are the typical particles predicted by the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT model) and the observation of these particles might be regarded as the direct evidence of the LHT model. In this paper, we investigate the production of a pair of T-odd leptons associated with a gauge boson $V$($γ$ or $Z$) at the international linear $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider (ILC). The numerical results show that the possible signals of the T-odd leptons may be detected in the future ILC experiments.
We study the neutral Higgs boson production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the future $e^- e^+$ linear collider (ILC) in the two Higgs doublet model with CP violation. The CP-even and CP-odd scalars are mixed in this model, which affects the production processes of neutral Higgs boson. We examine the correlation of the Higgs production at LHC and ILC and provide a strategy to distinguish the model from the CP conserving model and to determine the parameters of the Higgs sector.
In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, the new interactions between the mirror leptons and the Standard Model leptons can induce some lepton flavor violation (LFV) processes at loop level. We study the possibility of the ILC to probe the LFV production processes $e^+e^-(γγ)\rightarrow l_{i}\bar{l}_{j}$. Our results show that the rates of $γγ\rightarrow l_{i}\bar{l}_{j}$ can reach 1 fb in optimal cases after reasonable kinematical cuts, which implies that these processes may be observed at the ILC.
This paper has been withdrawn by the authors due to a coding error and a missed diagram. The calculation has been completely redone, with very different results, and with an additional author, and will be submitted to the arxiv shortly.
In this work, we explore the signals of an $S_3$-symmetric two Higgs doublet model with two generations of vector-like leptons (VLLs) at the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC). The lightest neutral component of the VLL in this model provides a viable dark matter (DM) candidate satisfying the current relic density data as well as circumventing all direct and indirect DM search constraints. Some representative benchmark points have been selected with low, medium and high DM masses, satisfying all theoretical and experimental constraints of the model and constraints coming from the DM s…
We investigate the weak electric and magnetic dipole moments of top quark-Z boson interactions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the International Linear Collider (ILC). Their vanishingly small magnitude in the Standard Model makes these couplings ideal for probing New Physics interactions and for exploring the role of top quarks in electroweak symmetry breaking. In our analysis, we consider the production of two top quarks in association with a Z boson at the LHC, and top quark pairs mediated by neutral gauge bosons at the ILC. These processes yield direct sensitivity to top quark-Z boso…
In topcolor-assisted technicolor models (TC2) the hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixing induced by the new gauge boson $Z'$ will lead to the lepton flavor violating productions of $τ\bar μ$, $τ\bar e$ and $μ\bar e$ in photon-photon collision at the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC). Through a comparative analysis of these processes, we find that the better channels to probe the TC2 is the production of $τ\bar μ$ or $τ\bar e$ which occurs at a much higher rate than $μ\bar e$ production due to the large mixing angle and the large flavor changing coupling, and may reach the detec…
At the International Linear Collider large beam polarization of both the electron and positron beams will enhance the signature of physics due to interactions that are beyond the Standard Model. Here we review our recently obtained results on a general model independent method of determining for an arbitary one-particle inclusive state the space-time structure of such new physics through the beam polarization dependence and angular distribution of the final state particle.
The recently reported diphoton excess at the LHC may imply the existence of a new resonance with a mass of about 750 GeV which couples to photons via loops of new charged particles. In this letter, we study the possibility to test such models at the ILC, paying attention to the new charged particles responsible for the diphoton decay of the resonance. We show that they affect the scattering processes $e^+e^- \to f\bar{f}$ (with $f$ denoting Standard Model fermions) at the ILC, which makes it possible to indirectly probe the new charged particles even if they are out of the kinematical reach. W…
Taking into account the constraints on the free parameters of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (called $LHT$ model) from some rare decay processes, such as $μ\rightarrow eγ$ and $μ\rightarrow 3e$, we consider the contributions of the $LHT$ model to the lepton flavor violating ($LFV$) processes $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow l_{i}\bar{l}_{j}$ and $γγ\rightarrow l_{i}\bar{l}_{j}$ ($i\neq j$). We find that the $LHT$ model can indeed produce significant contributions to these $LFV$ processes and its $LFV$ signal might has a chance of being observed in the future $ILC$ experiments.
We study the feasibility of the Type-X two Higgs doublet model (THDM-X) at collider experiments. In the THDM-X, new Higgs bosons mostly decay into tau leptons in the wide range of the parameter space. Such scalar bosons are less constrained by current experimental data, because of the suppressed quark Yukawa interactions. We discuss a search strategy of the THDM-X with multi-tau lepton final states at International linear collider and Large Hadron Collider. By using the collinear approximation, we show that a four tau lepton signature (e^+e^- -> HA -> 4τ) can be a clean signal.
We study the possible reach of the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC) in exploring the lepton flavor violating (LFV) Higgs boson decay $h\toμτ$. Two generic types of models are investigated, both involving an extended scalar sector. For the first type, the rest of the scalars are heavy and beyond the reach of ILC but the LFV decay occurs through a tiny admixture of the Standard Model (SM) doublet with the heavy degrees of freedom. In the second class, which is more constrained from the existing data, the SM Higgs boson does not have any LFV decay but there are other scalars degenerat…
The neutral gauge boson $B_H$ with the mass of hundreds GeV, is the lightest particle predicted by the littlest Higgs(LH) model, and such particle should be the first signal of the LH model at the planed ILC if it exists indeed. In this paper, we study some processes of the $B_H$ production associated with the fermion pair at the ILC, i.e., $γγ\to f\bar{f}B_{H}$. The studies show that the most promising processes to detect $B_H$ among $γγ\to f\bar{f}B_{H}$ are $γγ\to l'^+l'^-B_{H}(l'=e,μ)$, and they can produce the sufficient signals in most parameter space preferred by the electroweak precisi…
We review the influence of lepton flavour violation (LFV) on the production processes e+e- -> ~chi+_i ~chi-_j at the International Linear Collider (ILC) with longitudinal e+ and e- beam polarizations in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). The t-channel sneutrino exchange contribution to the processes e+e- -> ~chi+_i ~chi-_j is modified in the case of LFV, as the sneutrino mass eigenstates have no definite flavour, and therefore more than one sneutrino can contribute. This influence can alter the cross section sigma(e+e- -> ~chi+_1 ~chi-_1) by a factor of 2 or mor…
The anomalous $WWγ$ coupling is probed through $eγ\rightarrow νW$ at the ILC. With a spectacular single lepton final state, this process is well suited to study the above coupling. Cross section measurements can probe $δκ_γ$ to about $\pm 0.004$ for a luminosity of 100 fb$^{-1}$ at $500$ GeV center-of-mass energy with unpolarized electron beam. The limits derivable on $λ_γ$ from the total cross section are comparatively more relaxed. Exploiting the energy-angle double distribution of the secondary muons, kinematic regions sensitive to these couplings are identified. The derivable limit on $λ_γ…
A beam dump experiment can be seamlessly added to the {proposed} International Linear Collider (ILC) program because the high energy electron beam should be dumped after the collision point. The ILC beam dump experiment will provide an excellent opportunity to search for new long-lived particles. Since many of them can be produced by a rare decay of standard model particles, we evaluate spectra of the mesons and $τ$ lepton at the decay based on the PHITS and PYTHIA8 simulations. As a motivated physics case, we study the projected sensitivity of heavy neutral leptons at the ILC beam dump experi…
We study the LFV Higgs production processes $e^-γ\to\ell^-ϕ\;(\ell=μ,τ; ϕ=H, A)$ as a probe of Higgs mediated LFV couplings at an electron-photon collider, where $H$ and $A$ are extra CP even and odd Higgs bosons, respectively, in the two Higgs doublet model. Under the constraints from the current data of muon and tau rare decay, the cross section can be significantly large. It would improve the experimental upper bounds on the effective LFV coupling constants. In addition, the chirality nature of the LFV Higgs coupling constants can be measured by selecting electron beam polarizations.
The Randall-Sundrum model with all Standard Model (SM) fields in the bulk, including the Higgs, can be probed by precision measurements at the ILC. In particular, the couplings of the Higgs to the gauge bosons of the SM can be determined with high accuracy at the ILC. Here we examine the deviations in these couplings from their SM values within the framework of the Universal Randall-Sundrum Model (URSM) as well as the corresponding couplings of the first Higgs Kaluza-Klein excitation.
The International Linear Collider (ILC) will be able to precisely measure the electroweak couplings of the top in e+e- -> tt~. We compare the limits which can be achieved at the ILC with those which can be obtained in tt~gamma$ and tt~Z production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The Higgs boson pair production at a linear $e^+e^-$ collider is analyzed in the $4τ$ final state in the context of lepton-specific or type IV 2HDMs. Both beams are assumed to be unpolarized. The Higgs boson pairs (HA) are produced through off-shell $Z^*$ production and decay to $τ$-jets which is the main decay channel for neutral Higgs bosons in type IV. Using a simplified detector simulation based on SiD detector at ILC, the 4$τ$ signal is studied through the $τ$-jet pair invariant mass reconstruction. Several benchmark scenarios are considered for center of mass energies of 500 and 1000 GeV…
The hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixing, induced by the new charged scalar ϕ^\pm and ϕ^{\pm\pm} predicted by many new physics models such as higgs triplet models, may lead to the lepton flavor violating productions of τ\bar μ, τ\bar e and μ\bar e in photon-photon collision at the proposed international linear collider. In this paper, we consider the contributions of the ϕ^\pm and ϕ^{\pm\pm} in the context of the higgs triplet models to the processes γγ\to l_i\bar l_j (i, j= e, μ, τ, i\neq j) and find that they can be good channels to probe these new physics models. The lepton flavor vi…
In this work we study the sensitivity on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-neutrino in the framework of the $SU(2)_L\times U(1)_Y\times U(1)_{B-L}$ electroweak model at future $e^+e^-$ linear colliders as the ILC and CLIC. For our study we consider the process $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow ( Z, Z', γ) \to ν_τ\bar ν_τγ$. For center-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s}=1000-3000\hspace{0.8mm}GeV$ and integrated luminosities of ${\cal L}=500-2000\hspace{0.8mm}fb^{-1}$, we derive $95 \% \hspace{1mm}$ C.L. limits on the dipole moments $|μ_{ν_τ}(μ_B)| \leq 6.28 \times 10^{-9}$ and $|d_…
We consider possible production of heavy leptons via anomalous interactions at future $ep$ colliders (THERA and LHeC), $e^+e^-$ colliders (ILC and CLIC) and $pp$ collider CERN LHC. The production, backgrounds and signatures of heavy leptons are analyzed. We obtain the upper mass limits of 800 GeV at LHeC, 450 GeV at ILC and 650 GeV at LHC for optimal choices of relevant parameters.
To explain the small neutrino masses, heavy Majorana neutrinos are introduced in the left-right twin Higgs model. The heavy neutrinos, together with the charged scalars and the heavy gauge bosons, may contribute large mixings between the neutrinos and the charged leptons, which may induce some distinct lepton flavor violating processes. We will check the \bar \ell_i \ell_j (i,j= e,μ,τ,i\neq j) productions in the γγcollision in the left-right twin Higgs model, and find that the production rates may be large in some specific parameter space, in the optimal cases even possible to be detected with…
Dark matter particles that couple primarily to leptons are only weakly constrained by data from direct detection experiments and the LHC. However, models of this kind necessarily generate effective four-lepton contact interactions at the tree- or one-loop-level, which can be probed in $e^+e^-$ collisions. In this work, precise data from LEP is used to derive limits on leptophilic dark matter in a model-independent framework. The bounds turn out to be competitive with, and in some cases exceed, limits from mono-photon events. We also extrapolate our results to ILC energies and luminosities. We …
We discuss lepton flavor violation (LFV) associated with tau leptons in the general framework of the two Higgs doublet model, in which LFV couplings are introduced as a deviation from Model II Yukawa interaction. Parameters of the model are constrained from experimental results and also from requirements of theoretical consistencies such as vacuum stability and perturbative unitarity. Current data for LFV rare tau decays provide substantial upper limits on the LFV Yukawa couplings in the large $\tanβ$ region, which are comparable with predictions in fundamental theories. Here $\tanβ$ is the ra…
Neutrino masses could originate in seesaw models testable at colliders, with light mediators and an approximate lepton number symmetry. The minimal model of this type contains two quasi-degenerate Majorana fermions forming a pseudo-Dirac pair. An important question is to what extent future colliders will have sensitivity to the splitting between the Majorana components, since this quantity signals the breaking of lepton number and is connected to the light neutrino masses. We consider the production of these neutral heavy leptons at the ILC, where their displaced decays provide a golden signal…
Investigating vector-like leptons decaying into an electron and missing transverse energy in e$^{+}$ e$^{-}$ collisions with $\sqrt{s} = 500$ GeV at the ILC
The construction of the ILC tangential to Tevatron ring will give opportunity to investigate electron-proton, positron-proton, electron-antiproton, positron-antiproton interactions at 1 TeV center of mass energy. The analysis of the lepton-hadron collisions in these energy region is very important both for understanding of strong interaction dynamics and for adequate interpretation of future LHC and VLHC data. In addition, ILC-Tevatron collider will provide a possibility to realize photon-hadron collisions in the same energy region using Compton backscattered laser photon off ILC electron beam…
The violation of CP symmetry is one of Sakharov's conditions for the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. Currently known sources of CP violation in the quark and neutrino sectors are insufficient to account for this. Is CP also violated in the Higgs sector? Could the SM-like Higgs boson be a mixture of even and odd CP states of an extended Higgs sector? With what precision could such effects be measured at future electron-positron colliders? These questions will be discussed in the light of the latest and ongoing studies at ILC.
Lepton flavor violating (LFV) processes via four-Fermi contact interactions at future International Linear Collider (ILC) are studied. The effective Lagrangian is composed of six-operators, and the LFV effects on both $e^+ e^- \to e^+ \ell^-$ and $e^- e^- \to e^- \ell^-$ ($\ell=μ$ or $τ$) processes can be parametrized by three parameters. Taking account of previous experimental results of LFV processes $μ\to 3e$ and $τ\to 3e$, we find that the upper limits on the LFV parameters for $\ell=τ$ could be improved at the ILC experiment using the polarized electron beam. The improvement of the upper …
Numerous non-standard dynamics are described by contact-like effective interactions that can manifest themselves in electron-positron collisions only through deviations of the observables (cross sections, asymmetries) from the Standard Model predictions. If such a deviation were observed, it would be important to identify the actual source among the possible non-standard interactions as many different new physics scenarios may lead to very similar experimental signatures. We study the possibility of uniquely identifying the indirect effects of s-channel sneutrino exchange, as predicted by supe…
A weak singlet charged scalar exists in many new physics models beyond the Standard Model. The discovery potential of the singlet charged scalar is explored at future lepton colliders, e.g. the CEPC, ILC-350 and ILC-500. We demonstrate that one can discover the singlet charged scalar up to 118 GeV at the CEPC with an integrated luminosity of $5~\mathrm{ab}^{-1}$. At the ILC-350 and the ILC-500 with an integrated luminosity of $1~\mathrm{ab}^{-1}$ such a discovery limit can be further improved to 136 GeV and 160 GeV, respectively.
The littlest Higgs model with T-parity predicts the existence of the T-odd particles, which can only be produced in pair. We consider pair production of the T-odd leptons in future high energy linear $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider ($ILC$). Our numerical results show that, as long as the T-odd leptons are not too heavy, they can be copiously produced and their possible signals might be detected via the processes $e^{+}e^{-}\to \bar{L}_{i}L_{j}$ in future $ILC$ experiments.
Taking into account the constraints on the lepton flavor violation (LFV) couplings of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson H with leptons from low energy experiments and the recent Compact Muon Solenoid experiment results, we investigate production of the SM Higgs boson associated with a lepton τvia e γcollision at the International Linear Collider (ILC) and Large Hadron Electron Collider experiments. The production cross sections are calculated and the LFV signals and the relevant SM backgrounds are examined. The LFV signals of the SM Higgs boson might be observed via e γcollision in future IL…
We consider the Higgs-radion mixing in the context of warped space extra dimensional models with custodial symmetry and investigate the prospects of detecting the mixed radion. Custodial symmetries allow the Kaluza-Klein excitations to be lighter, and protect Zbb to be in agreement with experimental constraints. We perform a complementary study of discovery reaches of the Higgs-radion mixed state at the 13 and 14 TeV LHC and at the 500 and 1000 GeV ILC. We carry out a comprehensive analysis of the most significant production and decay modes of the mixed radion in the 80 GeV - 1 TeV mass range,…
Run-I results from the CMS collaboration show an excess of events in the decay $h \to μτ_e$ with a local significances of 2.4$σ$. This could be the first hint of flavour violation in the Higgs sector. We summarise the bounds on the flavour violating Yukawa couplings from direct searches, low energy measurements and projected future experiments. We discuss the sensitivity of upcoming HL-LHC runs and future lepton colliders in measuring lepton-flavour violating couplings using an effective field theory framework. For the HL-LHC we find limits on BR($h\to μτ$) and BR$(h\to e τ) \lesssim \mathcal{…
Lepton flavor violating (LFV) process $e^+ e^- \to e^+ τ^-$ induced by the four-Fermi contact interactions at the International Linear Collider (ILC) is studied. Taking account of the event selection conditions, it is shown that the ILC is sensitive to smaller LFV couplings as compared to the measurement of $τ\to 3e$ process at the B-factory experiment. The upper bounds on some of the LFV couplings are improved by several factors using polarized $e^-/e^+$ beams at $\sqrt{s}=250~\mathrm{GeV}$ and by an order of magnitude at $\sqrt{s}=1~\mathrm{TeV}$.
High energy colliders provide a new unique way to determine the microscopic properties of the dark matter (DM). Weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) are widely considered as one of the best DM candidates. It is usually assumed that the WIMP couples to the SM sector through its interactions with quarks and leptons. In this paper, we investigate the DM pair production associated with a $Z$ boson in an effective field theory framework at the International Linear Collider (ILC), which can be used to study the interactions between the DM and leptons. For illustrative purposes, we present th…
We study the possibility of fingerprinting a strongly interacting $W$ boson sector which is consistent with present day LHC searches at the ILC with longitudinal as well as transversely polarized electron and positron beams. We account for the final state interaction using a suitable Omnès formalism in terms of a plausible resonance description, and carry out thorough analyses of cross sections, asymmetries and angular distributions of the $W's$. We carry out a comparison with other extensions of the Standard Model, where heavy additional $Z'$ bosons arise naturally. We also consider the effec…
Although the existence of Dark Matter (DM) has been suggested by various astrophysical observations, it has not yet been discovered today. We can assume a scenario in which the particles that account for the DM can interact with the Standard Model particles only through their couplings with the Higgs sector, the so-called Higgs-portal model. This model can be investigated by collider experiment using the invisible decay of Higgs boson. In this study, we evaluate the search ability of International Linear Collider (ILC) for invisible decay of the Higgs using International Large Detector (ILD) f…
International Linear Collider (ILC) is an electron-positron collider with the initial center-of-mass energy of 500 GeV which is upgradable to about 1 TeV later on. Its goal is to study the physics at TeV scale with unprecedented high sensitivities. The main topics include precision measurements of the Higgs particle properties, studies of supersymmtric particles and the underlying theoretical structure if supersymmetry turns out to be realized in nature, probing alternative possibilities for the origin of mass, and the cosmological connections thereof. In many channels, Higgs and leptonic sect…
We explore the room for possible deviations from the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson coupling structure in a systematic study of Higgs coupling scale factor benchmark scenarios using the latest signal rate measurements from the Tevatron and LHC experiments. We employ chi-squared fits performed with HiggsSignals, which takes into account detailed information on signal efficiencies and major correlations of theoretical and experimental uncertainties. All considered scenarios allow for additional non-standard Higgs boson decay modes, and various assumptions for constraining the total decay width …
We study the production of Higgs boson (phi) via the e^{-}e^{+}--> e^{-}e^{+} phi process at a future International Linear Collider (ILC) with sqrt{S}=1 TeV. At this energy the ZZ-fusion rate, as predicted by the Standard Model, dominates over the associated ZH production rate. Here, we consider a class of theory models based on the effective phi-VV (with V=Z, gamma) couplings generated by dimension-6 operators. We also show how to use the kinematical distributions of the final state leptons to discriminate the CP-even and CP-odd Higgs bosons produced at the ILC, when the phi-gamma-gamma coupl…
In the framework of the littlest Higgs($LH$) model, we consider the processes $e^{+}e^{-}\toν\barνH^{0}$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\to W^{*}W^{*}ν\barν\toν\barνt\bar{t}$, and calculate the contributions of new particles to the cross sections of these processes in the future high energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider($ILC$) with $\sqrt{S}=1TeV$. We find that, with reasonable values of the free parameters, the deviations of the cross sections for the processes $e^{+}e^{-}\toν\barνH^{0}$ from its $SM$ value might be comparable to the future $ILC$ measurement precision. The contributions of the light Higgs boson $H^0…
We explore the effects of neutrino and electron mixing with exotic heavy leptons in the process e^+e^-\to W^+W^- within E_6 models. We examine the possibility of uniquely distinguishing and identifying such effects of heavy neutral lepton exchange from Z-Z' mixing within the same class of models and also from analogous ones due to competitor models with anomalous trilinear gauge couplings (AGC) that can lead to very similar experimental signatures at the e^+e^- International Linear Collider (ILC) for \sqrt{s}=350, 500 GeV and 1 TeV. Such clear identification of the model is possible by using a…
In this work, we study the light stop pair signals at the LHC. We explore the SUSY parameter space with non-universal gaugino and third generation masses at the GUT scale. Recent LHC SUSY search results based on 35pb$^{-1}$ and 1fb$^{-1}$ of data are implemented to put the limits on stop pair events. The dark matter relic density and direct detection constraints are also taken into account. Detailed simulations on the signals and background for some benchmark points are performed, and it is found that the stop pair signals usually escape the LHC search if the present cut conditions are used. W…
The topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model predicts some light pseudo goldstone bosons (PGBs), which may be accessible at the LHC or ILC. In this work we study the pair productions of the charged or neutral PGBs at the LHC and ILC. For the productions at the LHC we consider the processes proceeding through gluon-gluon fusion and quark-antiquark annihilation, while for the productions at the ILC we consider both the electron-positron collision and the photon-photon collision. We find that in a large part of parameter space the production cross sections at both colliders can be quite large co…
We consider a gauged B$-$L (Baryon number minus Lepton number) extension of the Standard Model (SM), which is anomaly free in the presence of three SM singlet Right Handed Neutrinos (RHNs). Associated with the $U(1)_{\rm B-L}$ gauge symmetry breaking, the RHNs acquire Majorana masses and then with the electroweak symmetry breaking, tiny Majorana masses for the SM(-like) neutrinos are naturally generated by the seesaw mechanism. As a result of the seesaw mechanism, the heavy mass eigenstates which are mainly composed of the SM-singlet RHNs obtain suppressed electroweak interactions through smal…
We study the ILC phenomenology of (1,0) Kaluza-Klein (KK) modes along two universal extra dimensions compactified on the chiral square. We compute production cross sections of various (1,0) particles at the ILC with sqrt(s)=1 TeV, focusing on decays of KK-leptons and the KK partner of hypercharge gauge boson down to the "spinless photon", which is the lightest KK particle. We contrast this model to one universal extra dimension with KK-photon (spin-1) and supersymmetry with neutralino (spin-1/2) or gravitino (spin-3/2) dark matter. We also investigate the discovery potential for (1,1) KK boson…
We study the neutral Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) with explicit CP violation at the one-loop level. We take into account the one-loop contributions by the top quark, the stop quarks, the bottom quark, the sbottom quarks, the tau lepton, the stau leptons, the $W$ boson, the charged Higgs boson, the charginos, the $Z$ boson, the neutral Higgs bosons, and the neutralinos. The production cross sections of the neutral Higgs boson are calculated to the leading order. The processes in our consideration are divided in two groups: the Higgs-strahlung and gluon fusion…
We consider a gauged U(1)$_{B-L}$ (Baryon-minus-Lepton number) extension of the Standard Model (SM), which is anomaly-free in the presence of three Right-Handed Neutrinos (RHNs). Associated with the U(1)$_{B-L}$ symmetry breaking the RHNs acquire their Majorana masses and then play the crucial role to generate the neutrino mass matrix by the seesaw mechanism. Towards the experimental confirmation of the seesaw mechanism, we investigate a RHN pair production through the U(1)$_{B-L}$ gauge boson ($Z^\prime$) at the 250 GeV International Linear Collider (ILC). The $Z^\prime$ gauge boson has been …
