Singular cotangent model

Any singular level of a completely integrable system (c.i.s.) with non-degenerate singularities has a singular affine structure. We shall show how to construct a simple c.i.s. around the level, having the above affine structure. The cotangent budle of the desingularised level is used to perform the construction, and the c.i.s. obtained looks like the simplest one associated to the affine structure. This method of construction is used to provide several examples of c.i.s. with different kinds of non-degenerate singularities.

Singular symplectic cotangent bundle reduction of gauge field theory

We prove a theorem on singular symplectic cotangent bundle reduction in the Fréchet setting and apply it to Yang-Mills-Higgs theory with special emphasis on the Higgs sector of the Glashow-Weinberg-Salam model. For the latter model we give a detailed description of the reduced phase space and show that the singular structure is encoded in a finite-dimensional Lie group action.

Geometric quantization via cotangent models

In this article we give a universal model for geometric quantization associated to a real polarization given by an integrable system with non-degenerate singularities. This universal model goes one step further than the previous cotangent models by both considering singular orbits and adding to the cotangent models a model for the prequantum line bundle. Singular cotangent models and complexity in fluids with dissipation

In this article we analyze several mathematical models with singularities where the classical cotangent model is replaced by a $b$-cotangent model. We provide physical interpretations of the singular symplectic geometry underlying in $b$-cotangent bundles featuring two models: the canonical (or non-twisted) model and the twisted one. Singular Poisson reduction of cotangent bundles

We consider the Poisson reduced space $(T^*Q)/K$ with respect to a cotangent lifted action. It is assumed that $K$ is a compact Lie group which acts by isometries on the Riemannian manifold $Q$ and that the action on $Q$ is of single isotropy type. Realizing $(T^*Q)/K$ as a Weinstein space we determine the induced Poisson structure and its symplectic leaves. We thus extend the Weinstein construction for principal fiber bundles to the case of surjective Riemannian submersions $Q\to Q/K$.

Affine Varieties, Singularities and the Growth Rate of Wrapped Floer Cohomology

In this paper, we give partial answers to the following questions: Which contact manifolds are contactomorphic to links of isolated complex singularities? Which symplectic manifolds are symplectomorphic to smooth affine varieties? The invariant that we will use to distinguish such manifolds is called the growth rate of wrapped Floer cohomology. Singular cotangent bundle reduction and spin Calogero-Moser systems

We develop a bundle picture for the case that the configuration manifold has only a single isotropy type, and give a formula for the reduced symplectic form in this setting. Furthermore, as an application of this bundle picture we consider Calogero-Moser systems with spin associated to polar representations of compact Lie groups.

Toric symplectic singular spaces I: isolated singularities

We generalize a theorem of Delzant classifying compact connected symplectic manifolds with completely integrable torus actions to certain singular symplectic spaces. The assumption on singularities is that if they are not finite quotient then they are isolated.
