Closed String TCFT for Hermitian Calabi-Yau Elliptic Spaces

We describe an explicit action of the prop of the chains on the moduli space of Riemann surfaces on the Hochschild complex of a Calabi-Yau elliptic space. One example of such an elliptic space extends the known string topology operations, for all compact simply-connected manifolds, to a collection indexed by the de Rham currents on the moduli space. Another example pertains to the B-model at all genera.

The Gromov-Witten potential associated to a TCFT

This is the sequel to my preprint "TCFTs and Calabi-Yau categories", math.QA/0412149. Here we extend the results of that paper to construct, for certain Calabi-Yau A-infinity categories, something playing the role of the Gromov-Witten potential. This is a state in the Fock space associated to periodic cyclic homology, which is a symplectic vector space. Applying this to a suitable A-infinity version of the derived category of sheaves on a Calabi-Yau yields the B model potential, at all genera. Calabi-Yau pointed Hopf algebras of finite Cartan type

We study the Calabi-Yau property of pointed Hopf algebra $U(\mc{D},\lmd)$ of finite Cartan type. It turns out that this class of pointed Hopf algebras constructed by N. Andruskiewitsch and H.-J. Schneider contains many Calabi-Yau Hopf algebras. To give concrete examples of new Calabi-Yau Hopf algebras, we classify the Calabi-Yau pointed Hopf algebras $U(\mc{D},\lmd)$ of dimension less than 5.

The Calabi-Yau property of Hopf algebras and braided Hopf algebras

Let $H$ be a finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebra and $R$ a braided Hopf algebra in the category of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over $H$. When $R$ is a Calabi-Yau algebra, a necessary and sufficient condition for $R#H$ to be a Calabi-Yau Hopf algebra is given. Conversely, when $H$ is the group algebra of a finite group and the smash product $R#H$ is a Calabi-Yau algebra, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the algebra $R$ to be a Calabi-Yau algebra.

Calabi-Yau property of Quantum Groups of $GL(2)$ Representation Type

In this paper, we prove that the quantum groups $G(A,B)$ introduced by Mrozinski and their Hopf-Galois objects are twisted Calabi-Yau algebras, and give their Nakayama automorphisms explicitly.

Untwisting a twisted Calabi-Yau algebra

Twisted Calabi-Yau algebras are a generalisation of Ginzburg's notion of Calabi-Yau algebras. Such algebras A come equipped with a modular automorphism σ\in Aut(A), the case σ= id being precisely the original class of Calabi-Yau algebras. Here we prove that every twisted Calabi-Yau algebra may be extended to a Calabi-Yau algebra. More precisely, we show that if A is a twisted Calabi-Yau algebra with modular automorphism σ, then the smash product algebras A \rtimes_σN and A \rtimes_σZ are Calabi-Yau.

Cocommutative Calabi-Yau Hopf algebras and deformations

The Calabi-Yau property of cocommutative Hopf algebras is discussed by using the homological integral, a recently introduced tool for studying infinite dimensional AS-Gorenstein Hopf algebras. It is shown that the skew-group algebra of a universal enveloping algebra of a finite dimensional Lie algebra $\g$ with a finite subgroup $G$ of automorphisms of $\g$ is Calabi-Yau if and only if the universal enveloping algebra itself is Calabi-Yau and $G$ is a subgroup of the special linear group $SL(\g)$. Formal formality of the hypercommutative algebras of low dimensional Calabi-Yau varieties

There is a homotopy hypercommutative algebra structure on the cohomology of a Calabi-Yau variety. The truncation of this homotopy hypercommutative algebra to a strict hypercommutative algebra is well-known as a mathematical realization of the genus zero B-model.
