The angular distribution in photon-jet production in p\bar{p} -> γjet X is studied within a generalized factorization scheme taking into account the transverse momentum of the partons in the initial hadrons. Within this scheme an anomalously large cos(2ϕ) asymmetry observed in the Drell-Yan process could be attributed to the T-odd, spin and transverse momentum dependent parton distribution function h_1^{\perp q}(x, p_{\perp}^2). The same function is expected to produce a cos(2ϕ) asymmetry in the photon-jet production cross section. This particular azimuthal asymmetry is estimated to be smaller than the Drell-Yan asymmetry but still of considerable size for Tevatron kinematics, offering a new possibility to study T-odd effects at the Tevatron.
We perform a BFKL-NLL analysis of forward jet production at HERA which leads to a good description of data over the full kinematical domain. We also predict the azimuthal angle dependence of Mueller-Navelet jet production at the Tevatron and the LHC using the BFKL NLL formalism.
We investigate diffractive events in hadron-hadron collisions, in which two jets are produced and separated by a large rapidity gap. Using a renormalisation-group improved NLL kernel implemented in the HERWIG Monte Carlo program, we show that the BFKL predictions are in good agreement with the Tevatron data, and present predictions which could be tested at the LHC.
We discuss T-odd correlations between jet and lepton momenta in tt_bar events at the Tevatron that can be used to search for CP violation. We identify correlations suitable for the lepton plus jets and purely hadronic top-quark pair decay channels. As an example of CP violation we consider the top-quark anomalous couplings, including its chromo-electric dipole moment, and we estimate the limits that can be placed at the Tevatron.
Parity-odd asymmetries in the decay angular distribution of a W boson produced with a hard jet in p\bar{p} collisions arise only from QCD rescattering effects. If observed, these asymmetries will provide a first demonstration that perturbative QCD calculation is valid for the absorptive part of scattering amplitudes. We propose a simple observable to measure these asymmetries and perform realistic Monte Carlo simulations at Tevatron energies. It is shown that the Tevatron Run-II should provide sufficient statistics to test the prediction.
We consider b-jet production in the quasi-multi-Regge-kinematics approach based on the hypothesis of the gluon and quark Reggeization in the t-channel exchanges at the high energy. The data on various spectra of b-jet production measured by the CDF and D0 Collaborations at the Tevatron Collider are described well and with no free parameters.
The merging procedure of tree-level matrix elements and the subsequent parton shower as implemented in the new event generator SHERPA will be validated for the example of W/Z+jets production at the Tevatron. Comparisons with results obtained from other approaches and programs and with experimental results clearly show that the merging procedure yields relevant and correct results at both the hadron and parton levels.
We interpret the reported disagreement between the measured ratio, R_{10}, of the W + 1 jet cross-section to the W + 0 jet cross-section at the Tevatron and the Standard Model (SM) prediction, as the effect of interactions mediated by a colour-octet analogue of the W-boson, the W_8. The presence of a W_8 with mass O(300) GeV, and with couplings to quarks and gluons of the order of electroweak strength, allows the observations of the D0 collaboration to be reproduced quite accurately. Such an interaction is not in contradiction with the present CDF data on W+ W- or dijet production, though high…
The jet structure in events with Drell-Yan-produced W bosons is discussed, and a new model for describing such event is presented. The model is shown to explain recent measurements of the W-jet rapidity correlation and predicts a transverse energy flow at high W rapidities (corresponding to probing small-x partons in one of the incoming protons) higher than conventional parton cascade event generators.
At the Fermilab Tevatron, final states with three tagged b-jets could play an important role in searches for a Higgs boson with mass in the range 100-300 GeV. These signals arise from gb fusion and we demonstrate their observability in the limit of a large b-quark Yukawa coupling. Rather promising discovery limits on such a coupling are obtained and consequent effects on the parameter space of the Higgs-boson sector in the MSSM are discussed.
We compute the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the production of W bosons in association with three jets at the Tevatron in the leading color approximation, which we define by considering the number of colors and the number of light flavors as being of the same order of magnitude. The theoretical uncertainty in the next-to-leading order prediction for the cross-section is of the order of 15-25 percent which is a significant improvement compared to the leading order result.
We consider Higgs boson production through gluon--gluon fusion in hadron collisions, when a veto is applied on the transverse momenta of the accompanying hard jets. We compute the QCD radiative corrections to this process at NLO and NNLO. The NLO calculation is complete. The NNLO calculation uses the recently evaluated NNLO soft and virtual QCD contributions to the inclusive cross section. We find that the jet veto reduces the impact of the NLO and NNLO contributions, the reduction being more sizeable at the LHC than at the Tevatron.
New data on jet production obtained by the CDF and D0 Collaborations at the Tevatron in Run II are analyzed in the framework of z-scaling. Properties of data z-presentation are discussed. Physics interpretation of the scaling function psi(z) as a probability density to produce a particle with the formation length z is argued. It was shown that these experimental data confirm z-scaling.
An overview of the theoretical status of the top quark and single-jet inclusive production cross sections at the Tevatron is presented. NLO results as well as NNLO-NNLL and higher order threshold expressions derived from resummation calculations are discussed. Numerical results are presented for top quark production at the Tevatron, and it is shown that higher orders contribute sizable corrections to the total cross section and differential distributions, and they also dramatically reduce the factorization scale dependence of the cross section. For jet production, the scale dependence is also …
We study the production of Mueller-Navelet jets at hadron colliders in the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL) framework. We show that a measurement of the relative azimuthal angle ΔΦbetween the jets can provide a good testing ground for corrections due to next-leading logarithms (NLL). Besides the well-known azimuthal decorrelation with increasing rapidity interval Δηbetween the jets, we propose to also measure this effect as a function of R=k_2/k_1, the ratio between the jets transverse momenta. Using renormalisation-group improved NLL kernel, we obtain predictions for dσ/dΔηdR dΔΦ. We anal…
We present the first calculation of $Z+4$ jet production with heavy quark flavor identification at the Tevatron $p\bar p$ collider. The $Z + 4$ jet channel is especially interesting as a normalizer for the $W +4$ jet background to top quark signals, as a background to a possible $t\to cZ$ flavor-changing neutral-current (FCNC) decay signal, and as a background to missing-$p_T$ signals from gluino pairs. We also calculate the contributions to $W+4$ jet production from all the different heavy-flavor final states. The MADGRAPH program is used to generate all leading order subprocess helicity ampl…
We calculate one-loop (purely) Weak (W) corrections of ${\cal O}(α_{\mathrm{S}}^2α_{\mathrm{W}})$ to the partonic cross section of two jets at Tevatron and prove that they can be larger than the tree-level ${\cal O}(α_{\mathrm{S}}α_{\mathrm{EW}})$ and ${\cal O}(α_{\mathrm{EW}}^2)$ Electro-Weak (EW) ones. At high transverse energy of the jets, all such corrections may lead to detectable effects of, e.g., -10% or so, with respect to the leading-order (LO) QCD term of ${\cal O}(α_{\mathrm{S}}^2)$, for the highest value so far probed by Run 2, depending on the factorisation/renormalisation scale. …
The production of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson (H) in association with a jet is compared with that of the lightest scalar Higgs boson (h^0) and the pseudoscalar Higgs boson (A^0) of the Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM) at both the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the Fermilab Tevatron. We include both top and bottom quark loops to lowest order in QCD and investigate the limits of zero quark mass and infinite quark mass.
Boosted resonances is a highly probable and enthusiastic scenario in any process probing the electroweak scale. Such objects when decaying into jets can easily blend with the cornucopia of jets from hard relative light QCD states. We review jet observables and algorithms that can contribute to the identification of highly boosted heavy jets and the possible searches that can make use of such substructure information. We also review previous studies by CDF on boosted jets and its measurements on specific jet shapes.
The color-octet isosinglet "rho" of a new strong-interaction sector is readily produced in ppbar collisions. Its odd-parity decay to an "eta" and a gluon may exceed its decay rate to dijets. At center of mass energies sufficiently greater than the colored "rho" mass, the odd-parity production of ("omega" + colored "eta") or ("rho" + colored "pion") may be comparable to ttbar production. Considering that the "omega" has a dominant odd-parity decay mode, we end up with (Z, W, or gamma) + 4 jet events with two of the jets containing b or bbar.
We determine the Tevatron's reach in supersymmetric parameter space in trilepton, like-sign dilepton, and two lepton one tau-jet channels. We critically study the standard model background processes. We find larger backgrounds and, hence, significantly smaller reach regions than recent analyses. We identify the major cause of the background discrepancy. We improve signal-to-noise by introducing an invariant mass cut which takes advantage of a sharp edge in the signal dilepton invariant mass distribution. Also, we independently vary the cuts at each point in SUSY parameter space to determine th…
We report on the calculation of the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the production of top--antitop-quark pairs in association with a hard jet at the Tevatron and at the LHC. Results for integrated and differential cross sections are presented. We find a significant reduction of the scale dependence. In most cases the corrections are below 20% indicating that the perturbative expansion is well under control. Moreover, the forward--backward charge asymmetry of the top-quark, which is analyzed at the Tevatron, is studied at next-to-leading order. We find large corrections suggesting that…
We calculate the Next-to-Leading Order (NLO) QCD corrections to W-b-bbar production including full bottom-quark mass effects. We study the impact of NLO QCD corrections on the total cross section and invariant mass distribution of the bottom-quark jet pair at the Fermilab Tevatron p-pbar collider. We perform a detailed comparison with a calculation that considers massless bottom quarks. We find that neglecting bottom-quark mass effects overestimates the NLO total cross-section for W-b-bbar production at the Tevatron by about 8% independent of the choice of renormalization and factorization sca…
We determine the Tevatron's reach in supersymmetric parameter space in trilepton, like-sign dilepton, and dilepton plus tau-jet channels, taking all relevant backgrounds into account. We show results for the minimal supergravity model. With a standard set of cuts we find that the previously unaccounted for $Wγ^\ast$ background is larger than all other backgrounds combined. We include cuts on the dilepton invariant mass and the $W$-boson transverse mass to reduce the $Wγ^\ast$ background to a reasonable level. We optimize cuts at each point in supersymmetry parameter space in order to maximize …
We describe a study of the underlying event in jet and minimum bias events using data from the CDF detector. The underlying event contribution to the jet energy has been calculated in jet events and compared to the results of two Monte Carlo programs: Herwig and Pythia. The analysis has been carried out at two different center of mass energies: $\sqrt{s}=$1800 and 630 GeV. For most observables, good agreement is obtained with at least one of the Monte Carlo programs. Neither program describes all features of the data.
The CDF inclusive jet transverse energy cross section at 1.8 TeV suggests anomalous behavior at both low and high transverse energies. In addition the scaled ratio of the 0.63 TeV to 1.8 TeV data lies significantly below the standard model prediction and suggests structure not attributable to standard model processes. These anomalies are in line with what would be expected in the light gluino scenario. We perform a unified fit and extrapolate to two TeV to predict the results at run II.
We perform a phenomenological analysis of dijet production in double pomeron exchange at the Tevatron. We find that the CDF Run I results do not rule out the presence of an exclusive dijet component, as predicted by Khoze, Martin and Ryskin (KMR). With the high statistics CDF Run II data, we predict that an exclusive component at the level predicted by KMR may be visible, although the observation will depend on accurate modelling of the inclusive double pomeron exchange process. We also compare to the predictions of the DPEMC Monte Carlo, which contains a non-perturbative model for the central…
Four double-parton scattering processes are examined at the Fermilab Tevatron energy. With optimized kinematical cuts and realistic parton level simulation for both signals and backgrounds, we find large samples of four-jet and three-jet+one-photon events with signal to background ratio being 20\%-30\%, and much cleaner signals from two-jet+two-photon and two-jet+$e^+e^-$ final states. The last channel may provide the first unambiguous observation of multiple parton interactions, even with the existing data sample accumulated by the Tevatron collider experiments.
The hadronic $\kt$-spectrum inside a high energy jet is determined including corrections of relative magnitude $\cO{\sqrt{α_s}}$ with respect to the Modified Leading Logarithmic Approximation (MLLA), in the limiting spectrum approximation (assuming an infrared cut-off $Q_0 =\lqcd$) and beyond ($Q_0\ne\lqcd$). The results in the limiting spectrum approximation are found to be, after normalization, in impressive agreement with measurements by the CDF collaboration. A new integral representation for the "hump-backed" plateau is also reported.
We analyse the azimuthal decorrelation of Mueller-Navelet dijets produced in the collisions at Tevatron energies using a BFKL framework which incorporates dominant subleading effects. We show that these effects significantly reduce the decorrelation yet they are still insufficient to give satisfactory description of experimental data. However a good description of the data is obtained after incorporating within formalism the effective rapidity defined by Del Duca and Schmidt.
We show that the reported anomalies in $R_b$ and $R_c$ can be interpreted as the effect of a heavy vector boson \zprime\ universally coupled to $u$- and $d$-type quarks separately and nearly decoupled from leptons. This extra vector boson could then also naturally explain the apparent excess of the jet rate at large transverse momentum observed at CDF.
Gluon bremsstrahlung in scattering events with high transverse momentum jets is expected to increase markedly with the hardness (sum E_T) of the primary event. Within perturbative QCD we estimate a probability of order unity to see additional minijets with E_T >~ 15 GeV in ``dijet'' events with sum E_T > 400 GeV. The veto of such minijets is a promising background rejection tool for the Higgs search at the LHC.
Theoretical issues are discussed for the measurement of the top-mass using jets, including perturbative and non-perturbative effects that relate experimental observables to the Lagrangian mass, and appropriate choices for mass schemes. Full account for these issues is given for e+e--> t-tbar using a factorization theorem for event shapes for massive quarks. Implications for the Tevatron top-mass measurement are discussed. A mass-scheme, the "MSR-mass", is introduced which allows for a precise description of observables sensitive to scales R << m, but at the same time does not introduce perturb…
We consider inclusive hadroproduction of jets, prompt photons, b-jets, and D-mesons in the quasi-multi-Regge-kinematics approach based on the hypothesis of gluon and quark Reggeization in t-channel exchanges at high energies. The data taken by the CDF and D0 Collaborations at the Fermilab Tevatron are well described without adjusting parameters. We find the main contribution to inclusive jet production to be the scattering of two Reggeized gluons, described by the effective Reggeon-Reggeon-gluon vertex, and to b-jet and D-meson production --- the scattering of a Reggeized gluon and a Reggeized…
We study the impact of Tevatron jet data on a global fit of parton distribution functions and on the determination of the value of the strong coupling constant. The consequences are illustrated for cross sections of Higgs boson production at Tevatron and the LHC.
We use all the available new precise data for deep inelastic and related hard scattering processes to perform NLO global parton analyses. These new data allow an improved determination of partons and, in particular, the inclusion of the recent measurements of the structure functions at HERA and of the inclusive jets at the Tevatron help to determine the gluon distribution and alpha_S better than ever before. We find a somewhat smaller gluon at low x than previous determinations and that alpha_S(M_Z^2) = 0.119 +/- 0.002 (expt.) +/- 0.003 (theory).
The next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the production of a $W$-boson in association with a jet containing a heavy quark are presented. The calculation is fully differential in the final state particle momenta and includes the mass of the heavy quark. We study for the case of the Tevatron the sensitivity of the cross section to the strange quark distribution function, the dependence of the cross section on the heavy quark mass, the transverse momentum distribution of the jet containing the heavy quark, and the momentum distribution of the heavy quark in the jet.
In extended Higgs models, the Higgs boson may decay into a pair of light CP-odd scalars, with distinctive collider signatures. We study the ensuing Higgs signals at the upgraded Tevatron, considering the subsequent decays of the scalars into pairs of gluons or photons. For CP-odd scalars lighter than a few GeV, the Higgs boson manifests itself as a diphoton resonance and can be discovered up to masses of a few hundred GeV. For heavier CP-odd scalars the reach extends at most up to $M_h\sim 120$ GeV. We also discuss the capabilities of the LHC and lepton colliders in these channels.
We present the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the production of a $W$-boson in association with a jet containing a heavy quark.
We have studied events with a high-x_F antiproton and two central jets with E_T>7 GeV in CDF, in p+p_bar collisions at sqrt(s) = 1800 GeV. From the di-jet kinematics we derive the diffractive structure function of the antiproton. We also find an excess of events with a rapidity gap at least 3.5 units wide in the proton direction, which we interpret as di-jet production in double pomeron exchange events. We find non-factorization between our single diffractive results and (a) diffraction in ep at HERA (b) double pomeron exchange.
We show that the W p_T distribution measured by D0 at the Tevatron agrees well with the NLO QCD theoretical prediction for this quantity, whilst the W + 1 jet/ W + 0 jet ratio, R^10, measured by D0 lies significantly above the NLO QCD theoretical prediction. We derive an approximate relationship between these two quantities, and show that this rules out the majority of theoretical explanations for the D0 excess in R^10. We discuss possible physics that could give rise to the R^10 excess, which have little effect on the W p_T.
We demonstrate that in the back-to-back kinematics the production of four jets in the collision of two partons is suppressed in the leading log approximation of pQCD, compared to the hard processes involving the collision of four partons. We derive the basic equation for four-jet production in QCD in terms of the convolution of generalized two-parton distributions of colliding hadrons in the momentum space representation. Our derivation leads to geometrical approach in the impact parameter space close to that suggested within the parton model and used before to describe the four-jet production…
In this article, we review some of the complexities of jet algorithms and of the resultant comparisons of data to theory. We review the extensive experience with jet measurements at the Tevatron, the extrapolation of this acquired wisdom to the LHC and the differences between the Tevatron and LHC environments. We also describe a framework (SpartyJet) for the convenient comparison of results using different jet algorithms.
We make a brief presentation of the soft colour interactions models, the Soft Colour Interaction and the Generalised Area Law, and summarise the results when they are applied to p-pbar scattering. The models give a good description of the Tevatron data on production of W, bottom and jets in diffractive events, as well as jets with two rapidity gaps, alternatively leading particles. We also give predictions for diffractive J/psi production and discuss diffractive Higgs production at the Tevatron and LHC.
Recent measurements of the single inclusive jet cross section at the Tevatron by the CDF Collaboration maybe suggest a modified picture of QCD in the large $E_T$ range. One possible explanation of the measured jet excess is the introduction of a neutral heavy vector boson $Z'$. A parameter fit of this new model to the CDF data, in leading order perturbation theory, is performed, and the question of how the corresponding single inclusive jet cross sections and the dijet angular distributions at the LHC are affected by this additional $Z'$ is discussed. We conclude that the $Z'$ will play a pivo…
The angular distribution in photon-jet production in p \bar{p} -> γjet X is studied within a generalized factorization scheme taking into account the transverse momentum of the partons in the initial hadrons. Within this scheme an anomalously large cos(2ϕ) asymmetry observed in the Drell-Yan process could be attributed to the T-odd, spin and transverse momentum dependent parton distribution function h_1^{\perp q}(x, p_{\perp}^2). This same function is expected to produce a cos(2ϕ) asymmetry in the photon-jet production cross section. We give the expression for this particular azimuthal asymmet…
A large fraction of top quark events in $\pp$ collisions at $1.8\ \TeV$ will contain additional soft hadronic jets from gluon bremsstrahlung off the quarks and gluons in the hard processes $\qq, gg \to \tt \to \bb \ww$. These extra jets can cause complications when attempting to reconstruct $m_t$ from the invariant mass of combinations of final-state quarks and leptons. We show how such soft radiation cannot be unambiguously associated with either initial-state radiation or or with final-state radiation off the $b$ quarks. The top quarks can radiate too, and in fact the pattern of radiation ha…
We investigate the experimental implications of the minimal gauge-mediated low energy supersymmetry breaking (GMLESB) model for Fermilab Tevatron collider experiments. We map out the regions of parameter space of this model that have already been excluded by collider searches and by limits on $b\to sγ$. We use ISAJET to compute the cross sections for a variety of topological signatures which include photons in assocation with multiple leptons, jets and missing transverse energy. The reach in the parameter $Λ$, which fixes the scale of sparticle masses, is estimated to be $\sim 60$, 100 and 135…
Recent new results on the determination of the rapidity dependence of the differential inclusive jet cross section, $<d^{2}σ/d\et dη>$, as a function of jet $E_{T}$ in \ppbar collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1800$ GeV, measured by the D0 detector at the Tevatron, are presented along with the comparisons to theoretical next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative QCD predictions. Triple differential dijet cross sections, $<d^{3}σ/d\et dη_{1} dη_{2}>$, at $\sqrt{s}=1800$ GeV, as well as the new results on jet structure at $\sqrt{s}=1800$ and 630 GeV, as measured by the CDF and D0 detectors, are also discusse…
We compute the QCD corrections to the production of a top quark pair in association with one hard jet at the Tevatron and the LHC, using the method of generalized D-dimensional unitarity. Top quark decays are included at leading order in perturbative QCD. We present kinematic distributions of top quark decay products in lepton plus jets and dilepton final states at the Tevatron and the LHC, using realistic selection cuts. We confirm a strong reduction of the top quark forward-backward asymmetry for the process ttbar+jet at the Tevatron at next-to-leading order, first observed by Dittmaier, Uwe…
Associated single top production with a Z boson or a photon at large hadron colliders provides a precise determination of top flavour-changing neutral couplings. The best way to measure these couplings with the up quark at Tevatron is to search for events with three jets and missing energy or events with a photon, a charged lepton, a jet and missing energy. Other decay channels are also discussed.
The impact of nonrenormalizable gluon operators upon inclusive jet cross sections is studied. Such operators could arise in an effective strong interaction Lagrangian from gluon substructure and would induce observable cross section deviations from pure QCD at high transverse jet energies. Comparison of the theoretical predictions with recent CDF data yields a lower limit on the gluon compositeness scale $Λ$. We find $Λ> 2.03 \TeV$ at $95\%$~CL.
Quantum Chromodynamics has been studied extensively at Fermilab's Tevatron collider. Between 1992 and 1996 the DØand CDF experiments, each accumulated approximately $100 \mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ of proton-antiproton collisions at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=1800 \mathrm{GeV}$ and $\sim 0.5 \mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s}=630 \mathrm{GeV}$. In this paper, we present selected recent measurements of higher order effects in QCD: multiple jet production and subjet and charged particle multiplicities in quark and gluon jets.
We investigate the possibility that the W+4 jets background is a source of the anomalously large top-antitop (tt) charge asymmetry observed at the Tevatron. We simulate the tt reconstruction of the signal and background events at the matrix-element level and find that the reconstructed tt candidates from the W +4 jets background could give large forward-backward asymmetry. We suggest serious re-evaluation of the W+4 jets background for the tt candidate events by studying the distributions of the reconstructed tt systems in their rapidity difference, the transverse momentum of the top quark, an…
We provide a detailed analysis of the supersymmetric tri-lepton signals for sparticle searches at the Tevatron in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with general CP-violating phases but without flavor mixing among sfermions of different generation. The stringent experimental constraints on the CP-violating phases from the electron and neutron electric dipole moments are included in the analysis for two exemplary scenarios of the SUSY parameters; one with decoupled first two generation sfermions and the other with non-decoupled sfermions. In both scenarios, the production cross section a…
We present a systematic comparison of jet predictions at the LHC and the Tevatron, with accuracy up to next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). The exact computation at NNLO is completed for the gluons-only channel, so we compare the exact predictions for this channel with an approximate prediction based on threshold resummation, in order to determine the regions where this approximation is reliable at NNLO. The kinematic regions used in this study are identical to the experimental setup used by recently published jet data from the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the LHC, and CDF and D0 experiments …
Using BlackHat in conjunction with SHERPA, we have computed next-to-leading order QCD predictions for a variety of distributions in Z,gamma*+1,2,3-jet production at the Tevatron, where the Z boson or off-shell photon decays into an electron-positron pair. We find good agreement between the NLO results for jet p_T distributions and measurements by CDF and D0. We also present jet-production ratios, or probabilities of finding one additional jet. As a function of vector-boson p_T, the ratios have distinctive features which we describe in terms of a simple model capturing leading logarithms and ph…
We present the cross sections for the hadroproduction of gluinos by taking into account the CP odd dipole operators in supersymmetric QCD. The dependence of the cross sections on these operators is analyzed for the hadron colliders the Tevatron ($\sqrt S$=1.8 TeV) and the Cern LHC ($\sqrt{S}$=14 TeV). The enhancement of the hadronic cross section is obviously mass dependent and for a 500 GeV gluino, is up to 16 % (over 73 pb) at the LHC while it is 8 % (over 0.63 fb) at the Tevatron.
