Dark Energy, Background Independent Quantum Mechanics and the Origin of Cosmological Constant

We explore the extended framework of the generalized quantum mechanics and discuss various aspects of neighborhood in the construction of space in search of origin of cosmological constant. We propose to expand definition of the volume of the phase space in eight dimensions with an overall constraint in the form of uncertainty relation as: $(Δp_{x}Δp_{y}Δp_{z}ΔE)(ΔxΔyΔzΔt)\sim h^{4}$. We argue that the phase space volume in the eight dimensions is an appropriate representation that it should be, and the relation $(ΔΛ)(ΔV)\sim h$ again brings it down to the reduced phase space.

The cosmological constant: 2nd order quantum-mechanical correction to the Newton gravity

The work shows that the associated Einstein like gravity for the Klein-Gordon field shows the spontaneous emergence of the cosmological pressure tensor density (CPTD) that in the classical limit leads to the cosmological constant (CC). Does Quantum Physics Lead To Cosmological Inflation?

Informed by a quantum information perspective, we interpret cosmological expansion of space as growing entanglement between underlying degrees of freedom. Origin of the Cosmological Constant

The observed value of the cosmological constant corresponds to a time scale that is very close to the current conformal age of the universe. Here we show that this is not a coincidence but is caused by a periodic boundary condition, which only manifests itself when the metric is represented in Euclidian spacetime. We consider a possible connection between matter and cosmological constant $Λ$ via the Newtonian cosmic potential of the matter within the expanding particle horizon.
