Closed-Form Decomposition of One-Loop Massive Amplitudes

We present formulas for the coefficients of 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-point master integrals for one-loop massive amplitudes. The coefficients are derived from unitarity cuts in D dimensions. The input parameters can be read off from any unitarity-cut integrand, as assembled from tree-level expressions, after simple algebraic manipulations. The formulas presented here are suitable for analytical as well as numerical evaluation. Their validity is confirmed in two known cases of helicity amplitudes contributing to gg -> gg and gg -> gH, where the masses of the Higgs and the fermion circulating in the loop are kept as free parameters.

A closed-formula solution to the color-trace decomposition problem

In these notes we present a closed-formula solution to the problem of decomposing traces of Lie algebra generators into symmetrized traces and structure constants. The solution is written in terms of Solomon idempotents and exploits a projection derived by Solomon in his work on the Poincare-Birkhoff-Witt theorem.

Decay of long-lived massive closed superstring states: Exact results

We find a one-parameter family of long-lived physical string states in type II superstring theory. We compute the decay rate by an exact numerical evaluation of the imaginary part of the one-loop propagator. Remarkably, the lifetime rapidly increases with the mass. We find a power-law dependence of the form $T = const. g^{-2} Mass^α$, where the value of $α$ depends on the parameter characterizing the state. A closed analytical formula for two-loop massive tadpoles with arbitrary tensor numerators

Using the integration by parts method we derive a closed analytical expression for the result of the integration of an arbitrary dimensionally regulated tadpole diagram composed of a massless propagator and two massive ones, each raised into an arbitrary power, and including an arbitrary tensor numerator. We also briefly discuss the implementation of the formula in the algebraic manipulation language of FORM.

Unstable Rotational States of Closed String with Massive Points

For the closed string carrying 2 or 3 point-like masses the stability problem for central and linear rotational states is considered. This problem is important for applications of these model to describing baryons, glueballs or other exotic hadrons. Color decomposition of multi-quark one-loop QCD amplitudes

In this talk we discuss the color decomposition of tree-level and one-loop QCD amplitudes with arbitrary numbers of quarks and gluons. We present a method for the decomposition of partial amplitudes into primitive amplitudes, which is based on shuffle relations and is purely combinatorial. Closed formulae are derived, which do not require the inversion of a system of linear equations.

Poincaré constraints on the gravitational form factors for massive states with arbitrary spin

In this work we analyse the constraints imposed by Poincaré symmetry on the gravitational form factors appearing in the Lorentz decomposition of the energy-momentum tensor matrix elements for massive states with arbitrary spin. Numerical evaluation of multi-loop integrals by sector decomposition

Domain decomposition improvement of quark propagator estimation

Applying domain decomposition to the lattice Dirac operator and the associated quark propagator, we arrive at expressions which, with the proper insertion of random sources therein, can provide improvement to the estimation of the propagator. Schemes are presented for both open and closed (or loop) propagators.
