SUSY QM, symmetries and spectrum generating algebras for two-dimensional systems

We show in a systematic and clear way how factorization methods can be used to construct the generators for hidden and dynamical symmetries. This is shown by studying the 2D problems of hydrogen atom, the isotropic harmonic oscillator and the radial potential $Aρ^{2ζ-2}-Bρ^{ζ-2}$. We show that in these cases the non-compact (compact) algebra corresponds to so(2,1) (su(2)).

Matrix Hamiltonians: SUSY approach to hidden symmetries

A new supersymmetric approach to the analysis of dynamical symmetries for matrix quantum systems is presented. Contrary to standard one dimensional quantum mechanics where there is no role for an additional symmetry due to nondegeneracy, matrix hamiltonians allow for non-trivial residual symmetries. SUSY approach to Pauli Hamiltonians with an axial symmetry

A two-dimensional Pauli Hamiltonian describing the interaction of a neutral spin-1/2 particle with a magnetic field having axial and second order symmetries, is considered. After separation of variables, the one-dimensional matrix Hamiltonian is analyzed from the point of view of supersymmetric quantum mechanics. Nonlinear Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics: concepts and realizations

Nonlinear SUSY approach to preparation of quantum systems with pre-planned spectral properties is reviewed. Possible multidimensional extensions of Nonlinear SUSY are described. The full classification of ladder-reducible and irreducible chains of SUSY algebras in one-dimensional QM is given. Emergence of hidden symmetries and spectrum generating algebras is elucidated in the context of Nonlinear SUSY in one- and two-dimensional QM.

Extended supersymmetry with central charges in Dirac action with curved extra dimensions

We discuss a new realization of $\mathcal{N}$-extended quantum-mechanical supersymmetry (QM SUSY) with central charges hidden in the four-dimensional (4D) mass spectrum of higher dimensional Dirac action with curved extra dimensions. We show that this $\mathcal{N}$-extended QM SUSY results from symmetries in extra dimensions, and the supermultiplets in this supersymmetry algebra correspond to the Bogomol'nyi--Prasad--Sommerfield states.
