Because of the rotational invariance of the nuclear Hamiltonian, there exists a density functional for nuclei that depends only on two scalar densities. Practical calculations boil down to radial, one-dimensional ones.
Relativistic theories of nuclear matter are discussed in a new pespective. First the chiral character of the scalar nuclear field is introduced in the framework of the linear sigma model. With the assumption that the nucleon mass originates in part from the coupling to the quark condensate it is possible to relate the optical potential for the propagation of the scalar field to the QCD scalar susceptibility of the nucleon, on which indications exist from the lattice evolution of the nucleon mass with the quark mass. Constraining the parameters of the nuclear scalar potential by the lattice exp…
Employing QCD sum rules the in-medium modifications of scalar charm mesons in a cold nuclear matter environment are estimated. The mass splitting of D*-D*-bar is quantified.
We establish the interrelation between the QCD scalar response of the nuclear medium and its response to a scalar probe coupled to nucleons, such as the scalar meson responsible for the nuclear binding. The relation that we derive applies at the nucleonic as well as at the nuclear levels. Non trivial consequences follow. One concerns the scalar QCD susceptibility of the nucleon. The other opens the possibility of relating medium effects in the scalar meson exchange of nuclear physics to QCD lattice studies of the nucleon mass.
We derive the QCD sum rules for the vector and scalar meson mixing in nuclear medium, using a two quark interpolating field for both mesons. Modeling the mixing via a nucleon hole contribution with known coupling constant, the sum rule can be used to determine the overlap of the interpolating field and the scalar meson. In the I=0 channel, we find a stable Borel curve and an overlap that is about 10% of the corresponding value in the pseudo scalar or vector channel. The sum rule in the I=1 channel is less reliable but also consistent with a small value for the overlap. These results suggest th…
In particular it opens the possibility of relating medium effects in the scalar meson exchange or three-body forces of nuclear physics to QCD lattice studies of the nucleon mass
The scalar-isoscalar term in the two-pion exchange $NN$ potential is abnormally large and does not respect the hierarchy of effects predicted by chiral perturbation theory. We argue that this anomaly is associated with non-perturbative effects, which are also present in the $πN$ scalar form factor.
We discuss the relevance of the scalar modes appearing in chiral theories with spontaneous symmetry breaking such as the NJL model for nuclear matter studies. We show that it depends on the relative role of chiral symmetry breaking and confinement in the nucleon mass origin. It is only in the case of a mixed origin that nuclear matter can be stable and reach saturation. We describe models of nucleon structure where this balance is achieved. We show how chiral constarints and confinement modify the QCD sum rules for the mass evolution in nuclear matter.
In order to assess the relevance of chiral dynamics in the scalar sector we address two recent problems: radiative decay of the $ϕ$, for which there are quite recent data from Frascati, and the modification of the $σ$ properties in the nuclear medium seen through the $π^0 π^0$ photoproduction in nuclei.
We study the modification of the nucleon nucleon interaction in a nuclear medium in the scalar isoscalar channel, mediated by the exchange of two correlated ($σ$ channel) or uncorrelated pions. For this purpose we use a standard approach for the renormalization of pions in nuclei. The corrections obtained for the $NN$ interaction in the medium in this channel are of the order of 20% of the free one in average, and the consideration of short range correlations plays an important role in providing these moderate changes. Yet, the corrections are sizable enough to suggest further studies of the s…
The meson meson interaction in the scalar sector in the presence of a nuclear medium is studied with particular attention to the change of the properties of the f0(980) and a0(980) resonances. By using a chiral unitary approach which generates the f0 and a0 resonances and reproduces their free properties, we find that the position of the resonances in the medium is barely changed but their widths are considerably broadened. New many body corrections generating from higher orders in the chiral Lagrangian plus the contribution from N*h excitations, not considered before in connection with the pi…
We study the renormalization of the properties of low lying charm and hidden charm scalar mesons in a nuclear medium, concretely of the D_{s0}(2317) and the theoretical hidden charm state X(3700). We find that for the D_{s0}(2317), with negligible width at zero density, the width becomes about 100 MeV at normal nuclear matter density, while in the case of the X(3700) the width becomes as large as 200 MeV. We discuss the origin of this new width and trace it to reactions occurring in the nucleus, while offering a guideline for future experiments testing these changes. We also show how those med…
A system of nontopological solitons interacting through scalar and vector meson exchange is used to model nuclear matter. The models studied are of the Friedberg-Lee type, which exhibit dynamical bag formation due to the coupling of quarks to a scalar composite gluon field. It is shown that the chiral chromodielectric model gives the best fit to the empirical data. The presence of the scalar meson guarantees saturation and an increase of the proton charge radius with nuclear density consistent with the EMC effect.
The microscopic role of nuclear magnetism in rotating frame is investigated for the first time in the framework of the cranked relativistic mean field theory. It is shown that nuclear magnetism modifies the expectation values of single-particle spin, orbital and total angular momenta along the rotational axis effectively creating additional angular momentum. This effect leads to the increase of kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia at given rotational frequency and has an impact on effective alignments.
We study the nuclear modification of the scalar QCD susceptibility, calculated as the derivative of the quark condensate with respect to the quark mass. We show that it has two origins. One is the low lying nuclear excitations. At normal nuclear density this part is constrained by the nuclear incompressibility. The other part arises from the individual nucleon response and it is dominated by the pion cloud contribution. Numerically the first contribution dominates. The resulting increase in magnitude of the scalar susceptibility at normal density is such that it becomes close to the pseudoscal…
We calculate the triton binding energy with a non-local NN potential that fits the world NN data below 350 MeV with the almost perfect $χ^2$/datum of 1.03. The non-locality is derived from relativistic meson field theory. The result obtained in a 34-channel, charge-dependent Faddeev calculation is 8.00 MeV, which is 0.4 MeV above the predictions by local NN potentials. The increase in binding energy can be clearly attributed to the off-shell behavior of the non-local potential. Our result cuts in half the discrepancy between theory and experiment established from local NN potentials. Implicati…
An exact method is suggested to treat the nonlinear self-interactions (NLSI) in the relativistic Hartree-Fock (RHF) approach for nuclear systems. We consider here the NLSI constructed from the relativistic scalar nucleon densities and including products of six and eight fermion fields. This type of NLSI corresponds to the zero range limit of the standard cubic and quartic self-interactions of the scalar field. The method to treat the NLSI uses the Fierz transformation, which enables one to express the exchange (Fock) components in terms of the direct (Hartree) ones. The method is applied to nu…
We extend our recent analyses of the nuclear vector, axial-vector and pseudoscalar currents and derive the leading one-loop corrections to the two-nucleon scalar current operator in the framework of chiral effective field theory using the method of unitary transformation. We also show that the scalar current operators at zero momentum transfer are directly related to the quark mass dependence of the nuclear forces.
We apply ideas of the parquet-diagram and optimized Fermi-hypernetted chain methods to determine the short-range structure of the pair wave function in neutron matter and compare these with Bethe-Goldstone results and those of low-order variational calculations. It is shown that the induced interaction, describing the exchange of density, spin, and tensor fluctuations, has a profound influence on the short-ranged structure of the pair wave function and, hence, on effective interactions in neutron matter.
We try to single out some qualitative new effects of the coupling to the $δ$-isovector-scalar meson introduced in a minimal way in a phenomenological hadronic field theory. Results for the equation of state ($EOS$) and the phase diagram of asymmetric nuclear matter ($ANM$) are discussed. We stress the consistency of the $δ$-coupling introduction in a relativistic approach. New contributions to the slope and curvature of the symmetry energy and the neutron-proton effective mass splitting appear particularly interesting. A more repulsive $EOS$ for neutron matter at high baryon densities is expec…
We study a chiral relativistic theory of nuclear matter aimed at the desciption of both the binding and saturation properties and the QCD properties, quark condensate and QCD susceptibilities. For this purpose the nucleon scalar response of the quark-meson coupling model is introduced in the linear sigma model. The consequences for the nuclear and the QCD scalar susceptibilities are discussed.
We present a relativistic chiral effective theory for symmetric and asymmetric nuclear matter taken in the Hartree-Fock scheme. The nuclear binding is insured by a background chiral invariant scalar field associated with the radial fluctuations of the chiral quark condensate. Nuclear matter saturation is obtained once the scalar response of the nucleon generating three-body repulsive forces is incorporated. For these parameters related to the scalar sector and quark confinement mechanism inside the nucleon we make use of an analysis of lattice results on the nucleon mass evolution with the qua…
The thermal properties of asymmetric nuclear matter are investigated in a relativistic mean- field approach. We start from free space NN-interactions and derive in-medium self-energies by Dirac-Brueckner theory. By the DDRH procedure we derive in a self-consistent approach density- dependent meson-baryon vertices. At the mean-field level, we include isoscalar and isovector scalar and vector interactions. The nuclear equation of state is investigated for a large range of total baryon densities up to the neutron star regime, the full range of asymmetries from symmetric nuclear matter to pure neu…
It has been shown for the first time that $NN$ interaction, at least in some partial waves, can be quantitatively described by the superposition of a long-range one-pion exchange and a short-range mechanism based on the complex pole in the $NN$ potential corresponding to the dibaryon resonance in this partial wave. For the partial waves $^3P_2$, $^1D_2$, $^3F_3$ and $^1S_0$ the parameters of the complex poles that give the best description of the elastic and inelastic phase shifts of $NN$ scattering are very close to the empirical parameters of the corresponding isovector dibaryon resonances d…
The spin-dependent nature of the nuclear tensor force is studied in details within the relativistic Hartree-Fock approach. The relativistic formalism for the tensor force is supplemented with an additional Lorentz-invariant tensor formalism in $σ$-scalar channel, so as to take into account almost fully the nature of the tensor force brought about by the Fock diagrams in realistic nuclei. Specifically, the tensor sum rules are tested for the spin and pseudo-spin partners with/without nodes, to further understand the tensor force nature within relativistic model. It is shown that the interferenc…
We present a relativistic chiral theory of nuclear matter which includes the effect of confinement. Nuclear binding is obtained with a chiral invariant scalar background field associated with the radial fluctuations of the chiral condensate Nuclear matter stability is ensured once the scalar response of the nucleon depending on the quark confinement mechanism is properly incorporated. All the parameters are fixed or constrained by hadron phenomenology and lattice data. A good description of nuclear saturation is reached, which includes the effect of in-medium pion loops. Asymmetry properties o…
The quark-meson coupling (QMC) model for nuclear matter, which describes nuclear matter as non-overlapping MIT bags bound by the self-consistent exchange of scalar and vector mesons is modified by the introduction of a density dependent bag constant. It is found that when the bag constant is significantly reduced in nuclear medium with respect to its free space value, large canceling isoscalar Lorentz scalar and vector potentials for the nucleon in nuclear matter emerge naturally. Such potentials are comparable to those suggested by relativistic nuclear phenomenology. This suggests that the mo…
Chiral expansions of the two-pion exchange components of both two- and three-nucleon forces are reviewed and a discussion is made of the predicted pattern of hierarchies. The strength of the scalar-isoscalar central potential is found to be too large and to defy expectations from the symmetry. The causes of this effect can be understood by studying the nucleon scalar form factor.
Chiral theories with spontaneous symmetry breaking such as the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model lead to the existence of a scalar mode. We present in a detailed manner how the corresponding low momentum effective lagrangian involving the scalar field can be constructed starting from the NJL model. We discuss the relevance of the scalar mode for the problem of the nuclear binding and saturation. We show that it depends on the nucleon mass origin with two extreme cases. If this origin is entirely due to confinement the coupling of this mode to the nucleons vanishes, making it irrelevant for the nu…
In this talk we present a description of nuclear binding in a chiral approach based on the existence of a chiral invariant scalar field associated with the generation of the masses through spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking. We discuss the emergence of such a field on the example of the NJL model. We also incorporate the effect of confinement at the level of the nucleon substructure to stabilize nuclear matter. In a particular quark-diquark model we illustrate the simutaneous influences of spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking and confinement on the nucleon mass and on the nuclear matter desc…
We employ the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio, linear-$σ$ models, and the density-dependent model with chiral limits to work out the mean fields and relevant properties of nuclear matter. To have the constraint from the data, we reexamine the Dirac optical potentials and symmetry potential based on the relativistic impulse approximation (RIA). Unlike the extended NJL and the density-dependent models with the chiral limit in terms of the vanishing scalar density, the extended linear-$σ$ model with a sluggish changing scalar field loses the chiral limit at the high density end. The various scalar fi…
We perform Hartree calculations of symmetric and asymmetric semi-infinite nuclear matter in the framework of relativistic models based on effective hadronic field theories as recently proposed in the literature. In addition to the conventional cubic and quartic scalar self-interactions, the extended models incorporate a quartic vector self-interaction, scalar-vector non-linearities and tensor couplings of the vector mesons. We investigate the implications of these terms on nuclear surface properties such as the surface energy coefficient, surface thickness, surface stiffness coefficient, neutr…
Relativistic mean field (RMF) theory of nuclear matter with the isovector scalar mean field corresponding to the delta-meson [a_0(980)] is studied. While the delta-meson mean field vanishes in symmetric nuclear matter, it can influence properties of asymmetric nuclear matter in neutron stars. The RMF contribution due to delta-field to the nuclear symmetry energy is negative. To fit the empirical value, E_s=30 MeV, a stronger rho-meson coupling is required than in the absence of the delta-field. The energy per particle of neutron matter is then larger at high densities than the one with no delt…
We study the properties of the scalar charm resonances $D_{s0}(2317)$ and $D_0(2400)$, and the theoretical hidden charm state X(3700) in nuclear matter. We find that for the $D_{s0}(2317)$ and X(3700) resonances, with negligible and small width at zero density, respectively, the width becomes about $100 {\rm MeV}$ and $200 {\rm MeV}$ at normal nuclear matter density, accordingly. For $D_0(2400)$ the change in width is relatively less important. We discuss the origin of this new width and trace it to reactions occurring in the nucleus. We also propose a possible experimental test for those modi…
The origin of the nuclear tensor interaction in the covariant energy density functional (EDF) is presented in this work, associated with the Fock diagrams of Lorentz scalar and vector couplings. With this newly obtained relativistic formalism of the nuclear tensor interaction, more distinct tensor effects are found in the Fock diagrams of the Lorentz scalar and vector couplings, as compared to the Lorentz pseudo-vector and tensor channels. A unified and self-consistent treatment on both the nuclear tensor and spin-orbit interactions, which dominate the spin-dependent features of the nuclear fo…
We consider the thermodynamics of the matter made up of equal number of neutrons and protons and of scalar dibaryons. They interact via the exchange of scalar and vector mesons. The interaction is taken into account in the mean field approximation. The condensation of dibaryons in this matter and the phase transition of matter to quark matter are considered. Possible signatures of dibaryons in Heavy Ion Collisions are speculated on.
We calculate the single-particle nucleon characteristics in symmetric nuclear matter with inclusion of the 3N and 4N interactions. We calculated the contribution of the 3N interactions earlier, now we add that of the 4N ones. The contribution of the 4N forces to nucleon self energies is expressed in terms of the nonlocal scalar condensate (d=3) and of the configurations of the vector-scalar and the scalar-scalar quark condensates (d=6) in which two diquark operators act on two different nucleons of the matter. These four-quark condensates are obtained in the model-independent way. The density d…
In this work we shall investigate the mass modifications of scalar mesons $\left( D_{0}, B_{0}\right)$,vector mesons $\left( D^{\ast}, B^{\ast}\right)$ and axial-vector mesons $\left(D_{1}, B_{1}\right)$ at finite density and temperature of the nuclear medium. The above mesons are modified in the nuclear medium through themodification of quark and gluon condensates. We shall find the medium modification of quark and gluon condensates within chiral SU(3) model through the medium modification of scalar-isoscalar fields $σ$ and $ζ$ at finite density and temperature. These medium modified quark an…
Asymmetric nuclear matter is studied in the frame of relativistic mean-field theory, using scalar-isoscalar sigma, vector-isoscalar omega meson together with their selfinteractions, vector-isovector rho meson with its cross-interaction with omega meson too, and scalar-isovector delta meson as degrees of freedom. The model is used to parameterize the nuclear matter properties results calculated by more fundamental Dirac-Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory and thus to provide an effective DBHF model applicable also to finite nuclei. Vector omega-rho cross-interaction seems to be an useful degree of fr…
The notion that the scalar listed as $f_0 (500)$ in the particle data booklet is a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone (NG) boson of spontaneously broken scale symmetry, explicitly broken by a small departure from an infrared fixed point, is explored in nuclear dynamics. That notion which puts the scalar -- that we shall identify as a "dilaton" -- on the same footing as the pseudo-scalar pseudo-NG bosons, i.e., octet $π$, while providing a simple explanation for the $ΔI=1/2$ rule for kaon decay, generalizes the standard chiral perturbation theory (S$χ$PT) to "scale chiral perturbation theory," denoted $χ$P…

Open charm mesons (pseudo-scalar and scalar as well as axial-vector and vector) propagating or resting in nuclear matter display an enhanced sensitivity to the chiral condensate. This offers new prospects to seek for signals of chiral restoration, in particular in p-A and p-bar-A reactions as envisaged in first-round experiments by the CBM and PANDA collaborations at FAIR. Weinberg type sum rules for charming chiral partners are presented, and the distinct in-medium modifications of open-charm mesons are discussed. We also address the gluon condensates near Tc and their impact on QCD sum rules…
The effects of the presence of $Δ$-isobars in nuclear matter are studied in the framework of relativistic mean-field theory. The existence of stable nuclei at saturation density imposes constraints on the $Δ$-isobar self-energy and thereby on the mean-field coupling constants of the scalar and vector mesons with $Δ$-isobars. The range of possible values for the scalar and vector coupling constants of $Δ$-isobars with respect to the nucleon coupling is investigated and compared to recent predictions of QCD sum-rule calculations.
Pseudospin symmetry in nuclei is investigated by solving the Dirac equation with Woods-Saxon scalar and vector radial potentials. We relate the pseudospin interaction with a pseudospin-orbit term in a Schroedinger-like equation for the lower component of the Dirac spinor. We show that this term gives a large contribution to the energy splittings of pseudospin partners, so that the near pseudospin degeneracy arises from a significant cancellation among the different terms in that equation. This is a manifestation of the dynamical character of this symmetry in the nucleus. We analyze the isospin…
We discuss the recent status of some penetrating electromagnetic probes of relativistic nuclear collisions, and the information contained in their measurement. We concentrate in turn on sources that produce high p_T photons: those of purely thermal origin, those producing direct photons, those related to jet fragmentation, and those associated with the interaction of jets with the colored plasma. Whenever possible, we compare with RHIC data and in some cases we make predictions for the LHC.
We extend the formulation of relativistic Coulomb sum rules to account for the average effects of nuclear binding on the initial and final states of ejected nucleons. Relativistic interactions are included by using a Dirac representation adapted from a vector-scalar field theory. The scalar field reduces the effective nucleon mass $M^*$ and increases the relativistic effects of recoil and Fermi motion. We consider two models for the off-shell behavior of the nuclear electromagnetic current, and demonstrate that the sum rule is accurate for applications to data over the interesting range of $M^…
The propagation of the scalar (σand δ) and vector (ωand ρ) mesons in an iso-asymmetric nuclear matter is studied in detail, using the Walecka model. We calculate the invariant masses and spectral functions of the mesons, including the effect of meson mixing. At finite density, the mixing effect is quite important in the propagation of the scalar and (longitudinal) vector mesons. In the σchannel, we find a three-peak structure in the spectral function, caused by the mixing effect.
Spectrum of bosonic scalar-mode excitations in a normal Fermi liquid with a local scalar interaction is investigated for various values and momentum dependence of the scalar Landau parameter $f_0$ in the particle-hole channel. For $f_0 >0$ the conditions are found when the phase velocity on the spectrum of the zero sound acquires a minimum at a non-zero momentum. For $-1<f_0 <0$ there are only damped excitations, and for $f_0<-1$ the spectrum becomes unstable against a growth of scalar-mode excitations. An effective Lagrangian for the scalar excitation modes is derived after performing a boson…
The scalar and vectorial self energies obtained through QCD sum rules are introduced in the Quantum Hadrodynamics (QHD) equations. This QHD and QCD mixing show us that the effect of the density on the coupling constants is very small.
The existence of nuclear matter at large $N_{c}$ is investigated in the framework of effective hadronic models of the Walecka type. This issue is strongly related to the nucleon-nucleon attraction in the scalar channel, and thus to the nature of the light scalar mesons. Different scenarios for the light scalar sector correspond to different large $N_{c}$ scaling properties of the parameters of the hadronic models. In all realistic phenomenological scenarios for the light scalar field(s) responsible for the attraction in the scalar channel it is found that nuclear matter does not bind in the la…
Complete flavour decompositions of the scalar, axial and tensor charges of the proton, deuteron, diproton and $^3$He at SU(3)-symmetric values of the quark masses corresponding to a pion mass $m_π\sim806$ MeV are determined using lattice QCD. At the physical quark masses, the scalar charges constrain mean-field models of nuclei and the low-energy interactions of nuclei with potential dark matter candidates. The axial and tensor charges of nuclei constrain their spin content, integrated transversity and the quark contributions to their electric dipole moments. External fields are used to direct…
We discuss a relativistic chiral theory of nuclear matter with $σ$ and $ω$ exchange using a formulation of the $σ$ model in which all the chiral constraints are automatically fulfilled. We establish a relation between the nuclear response to the scalar field and the QCD one which includes the nucleonic parts. It allows a comparison between nuclear and QCD information. Going beyond the mean field approach we introduce the effects of the pion loops supplemented by the short-range interaction. The corresponding Landau-Migdal parameters are taken from spin-isospin physics results. The parameters l…
A covariant hyper-nuclear energy density functional (EDF) is derived from in medium nucleon meson vertex functionals, assuring the proper description of nuclear mean-field dynamics. The fundamental SU(3) coupling constants for the mean-field relevant vector (m=V) and scalar (m=S) interactions as functionals of the total baryon density are determined. Scalar and vector potentials and the resulting hyperon mean-fields in asymmetric nuclear matter are constructed and discussed, addressing also effects from three-body interactions. Λ- Σ^0 mixing in asymmetric nuclear through the coupling to the ba…
After giving a short introduction to the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with an anomaly term, we show the importance of the scalar-scalar correlation in the low-energy hadron dynamics, which correlation may be summarized by a scalar-isoscalar meson, the sigma meson. The discussion is based on the chiral quark model with the sigma-meson degrees of freedom. Possible experiments are proposed to produce the elusive meson in a nucleus and detect it. In relation to a precursory soft mode for the chiral transition, the reason is clarified why the dynamic properties of the superconductor may be described by…
The emission of nuclear clusters is investigated within the framework of isospin dependent lattice gas model and classical molecular dynamics model. It is found that the emission of individual cluster which is heavier than proton is almost Poissonian except near the transition temperature at which the system is leaving the liquid-vapor phase coexistence and the thermal scaling is observed by the linear Arrhenius plots which is made from the average multiplicity of each cluster versus the inverse of temperature in the liquid vapor phase coexistence. The slopes of the Arrhenius plots, {\it i.e.}…
We propose a quantization procedure for the nucleon-scalar meson system, in which an arbitrary mean scalar meson field $ϕ$ is introduced. The equivalence of this procedure with the usual ones is proven for any given value of $ϕ$. By use of this procedure, the scalar meson field in the Walecka's RMFT and in Chin's RHA are quantized around the mean field. Its corrections on these theories are considered by perturbation up to the second order. The arbitrariness of $ϕ$ makes us free to fix it at any stage in the calculation. When we fix it in the way of Walecka's RMFT, the quantum corrections are …
We study slow collective motion of isoscalar type at finite excitation. The collective variable is parameterized as a shape degree of freedom and the mean field is approximated by a deformed shell model potential. We concentrate on situations of slow motion, as guaranteed, for instance, by the presence of a strong friction force, which allows us to apply linear response theory. The prediction for nuclear dissipation of some models of internal motion are contrasted. They encompass such opposing cases as that of pure independent particle motion and the one of "collisional dominance". For the for…
The in-medium sum rules are employed to calculate the shifts in the mass and residue as well as the scalar and vector self-energies of the heavy $Λ_Q, Σ_Q$ and $Ξ_Q$ baryons, with Q being $b$ or $c$ quark. The maximum shift in mass due to nuclear matter belongs to the $Σ_c$ baryon and it is found to be $Δm_{Σ_{c}}=-936 ~ MeV$. In the case of residue, it is obtained that the residue of $Σ_b$ baryon is maximally affected by the nuclear medium with the shift $Δλ_{Σ_b} = -0.014 ~ GeV^3 $. The scalar and vector self-energies are found to be $Σ^{S}_{Λ_b} = 653 ~ MeV$, $Σ^{S}_{Σ_b} = -614 ~ MeV $, $Σ…
