Reducible Abelian varieties and Lax matrices for Euler's problem of two fixed centres

Abel's quadratures for integrable Hamiltonian systems are defined up to a group law of the corresponding Abelian variety $A$. If $A$ is isogenous to a direct product of Abelian varieties $A\cong A_1\times\cdots\times A_k$, the group law can be used to construct various Lax matrices on the factors $A_1,\ldots,A_k$. As an example, we discuss 2-dimensional reducible Abelian variety $A=E_+\times E_-$, which is a product of 1-dimensional varieties $E_\pm$ obtained by Euler in his study of the two fixed centres problem, and the Lax matrices on the factors $E_\pm$.

Elliptic Curves and a New Construction of Integrable Systems

A class of elliptic curves with associated Lax matrices is considered. A family of dynamical systems on e(3) parametrized by polynomial a with above Lax matrices are constructed. Five cases from the family are selected by the condition of preserving the standard mea- sure. Three of them are Hamiltonian. It is proved that two other cases are not Hamiltonian in the standard Poisson structure on e(3). Integra- bility of all five cases is proven. Integration procedures are performed in all five cases. Reduction of divisors and Clebsch system

There are a few Lax matrices of the Clebsch system. Poles of the Baker-Akhiezer function determine the class of equivalent divisors on the corresponding spectral curves. According to the Riemann-Roch theorem, each class has a unique reduced representative. We discuss properties of such reduced divisor on the spectral curve of $3\times 3$ Lax matrix having a natural generalization to $gl^*(n)$ case.

Integrable Euler top and nonholonomic Chaplygin ball

We discuss the Poisson structures, Lax matrices, $r$-matrices, bi-hamiltonian structures, the variables of separation and other attributes of the modern theory of dynamical systems in application to the integrable Euler top and to the nonholonomic Chaplygin ball.
