We study n-monotone functionals, which constitute a generalisation of n-monotone set functions. We investigate their relation to the concepts of exactness and natural extension, which generalise the notions of coherence and natural extension in the behavioural theory of imprecise probabilities. We improve upon a number of results in the literature, and prove among other things a representation result for exact n-monotone functionals in terms of Choquet integrals.

Lieb type convexity for positive operator monotone decreasing functions

We prove Lieb type convexity and concavity results for trace functionals associated with positive operator monotone (decreasing) functions and certain monotone concave functions. This gives a partial generalization of Hiai's recent work on trace functionals associated with power functions.

Representation of Quasi-Monotone Functionals by Families of Separating Hyperplanes

We characterize when the level sets of a continuous quasi-monotone functional defined on a suitable convex subset of a normed space can be uniquely represented by a family of bounded continuous functionals. Furthermore, we investigate how regularly these functionals depend on the parameterizing level. Finally, we show how this question relates to the recent problem of property elicitation that simultaneously attracted interest in machine learning, statistical evaluation of forecasts, and finance.

Rearrangement inequalities for functionals with monotone integrands

The rearrangement inequalities of Hardy-Littlewood and Riesz say that certain integrals involving products of two or three functions increase under symmetric decreasing rearrangement. New monotone measure-based integrals inspired by scientific impact problem

In this paper, we define new functionals generalizing scientometric indices proposed by Mesiar and Gągolewski in 2016 to overcome some limitations of h-index. Blaschke-Santaló inequalities for Minkowski and Asplund endomorphisms

It is shown that each monotone Minkowski endomorphism of convex bodies gives rise to an isoperimetric inequality which directly implies the classical Urysohn inequality. Among this large family of new inequalities, the only affine invariant one - the Blaschke-Santaló inequality - turns out to be the strongest one.
