We exploit the expression for the anomalous (chiral) effective action to obtain the Hawking radiation from the GHS (stringy) blackhole falling in the class of the most general spherically symmetric blackholes $(\sqrt{-g}\neq1)$, using only covariant boundary condition at the event horizon. The connection between the anomalous and the normal energy-momentum tensors is also established from the effective action approach.

Hawking radiation in GHS and non-extremal D1-D5 blackhole via covariant anomalies

We apply the method of Banerjee and Kulkarni (arXiv:0707.2449, [hep-th]) to provide a derivation of Hawking radiation from the GHS (stringy) blackhole which falls in the class of the most general spherically symmetric blackholes ($\sqrt{-g}\neq 1$) and also the non-extremal $D1-D5$ blackhole using only covariant gravitational anomalies.

We adopt the covariant anomaly cancellation method as well as the effective action approach to obtain the Hawking radiation from the Reissner-Nordström blackhole with a global monopole falling in the class of the most general spherically symmetric charged blackhole $(\sqrt{-g}\neq1)$, using only covariant boundary condition at the event horizon.

Hawking radiation is obtained from the Reissner-Nordström blackhole with a global monopole and the Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger blackhole falling in the class of the most general spherically symmetric blackholes $(\sqrt{-g}\neq1)$, using only chiral anomaly near the event horizon and covariant boundary condition at the event horizon. The approach differs from the anomaly cancellation approach since apart from the covariant boundary condition, the chiral anomaly near the horizon is the only input to derive the Hawking flux.

Calculation of Hawking Radiation in Local Field Theory

Hawking radiation of the blackhole is calculated based on the principle of local field theory. In our approach, the radiation is a unitary process, therefore no information loss will be recorded. Generalization of the KKW Analysis for Black Hole Radiation

An extension of the Keski-Vakuri, Kraus and Wilczek (KKW) analysis to black hole spacetimes which are not Schwarzschild-type is presented. Preserving the regularity at the horizon and stationarity of the metric in order to deal with the across-horizon physics, a more general coordinate transformation is introduced. On the paradox of Hawking radiation in a maximally extended Schwarzschild solution

This paper considers the effect of Hawking radiation on an eternal black hole - that is. a maximally extended Schwarzschild solution.
