In this paper we show the series of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger paradoxes for N maximally entangled N-dimensional quantum systems.

A general argument is presented against relativistic, unitary, single-outcome quantum mechanics. This is achieved by combining the Wigner's Friend thought experiment with measurements on a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state, and describing the evolution of the quantum state in various inertial frames. Assuming unitary quantum mechanics and single outcomes, the result is that the Born rule must be violated in some inertial frame: in that frame, outcomes are obtained for which no corresponding term exists in the pre-measurement wavefunction.

In general, degeneracy cannot be avoided if the Hamiltonian contains m-body interaction terms with m<=2 and a number of qubits strictly larger than 4. As an application, we explicitly construct a two-body 4-qubit Hamiltonian and a three-body 5-qubit Hamiltonian that exhibit a GHZ as a nondegenerate eigenstate.
We show how to construct states for which a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger type paradox occurs if each party measures either the position or momentum of his particle. The paradox can be ascribed to the anticommutation of certain translation operators in phase space. We then rephrase the paradox in terms of modular and binary variables. The origin of the paradox is then due to the fact that the associativity of addition of modular variables is true only for c-numbers but does not hold for operators.
By solving analytically a master equation in the Lindblad form, we study quantum teleportation of the one-qubit state under the influence of different surrounding environments, and compared the robustness between Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) and W states in terms of their teleportation capacity. In this article we show that the three-particle GHZ theorem can be reformulated in terms of inequalities, allowing imperfect correlations due to detector inefficiencies. We show quantitatively that taking into accout those inefficiencies, the published results of the Innsbruck experiment support the nonexistence of local hidden variables that explain the experimental result.

We present a generalized Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) theorem, which involves more than two local measurement settings for some parties, and cannot be reduced to one with less settings. Our results hold for an odd number of parties. We use a set of observables, which are incompatible but share a common eigenstate, here a GHZ state. Such observables are called concurrent. The idea is illustrated with an example of a three-qutrit system and then generalized to systems of higher dimensions, and more parties. The GHZ paradoxes can lead to, e.g., secret sharing protocols.

We describe a novel method for producing Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states in cold atoms coupled to a superconducting coplanar cavity. In the proposed scheme, atoms interact between each other by virtual photon exchange via a cavity mode. In this paper, we develop a quantum key distribution protocol based on the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states (GHZs). The particles are exchanged among the users in blocks through two steps. In this protocol, for three-particle GHZs three keys can be simultaneously generated. The advantage of this is that the users can select the most suitable key for communication. The protocol can be generalized to $N$ users to provide $N$ keys. The protocol has two levels for checking the eavesdroppers. Moreover, we discuss the security of the protocol against different attacks.

Quantum squeezing and entanglement of spins can be used to improve the sensitivity in quantum metrology. Here we propose a scheme to create collective coupling of an ensemble of spins to mechanical vibrational mode actuated by an external magnetic field. We find an evolution time where the mechanical motion decouples from the spins, and the accumulated geometric phase yields a squeezing of $5.9~\text{dB}$ for $20$ spins. The concatenated Greenberger-Horne-Zeiglinger (C-GHZ) state which is a new type of logic-qubit entanglement has attracted a lot of attentions recently. We present a feasible entanglement concentration protocol (ECP) for logic-qubit entanglement. This ECP is based on the linear optics, and it does not know the initial coefficients of the less-entangled C-GHZ state. This protocol can be extended to arbitrary C-GHZ state. This protocol may be useful in future quantum information processing tasks.
We show that the criticism of a recent comment \cite{ch2} on the insecurity of a quantum secret sharing protocol proposed in \cite{v2} is based on a misconception about the meaning of security and hence is invalid. The same misconception also appears in another comment of the authors \cite{ch1} on the security of an entangled-based quantum key distribution protocol \cite{zhang,v1}.
